Would you believe me if I said I was waiting on his call?

( he pulls out his own phone, shaking it a bit that he's waiting for a direct connection with someone, but that doesn't seem to be the case today. slipping the phone back into his pocket, he squats down so he's a little more to her height as he looks off in the direction that which was up at him, so komaeda glances off to see a few people walking by merrily. )

Yet, I'm free... ahaha, I guess I'll continue to stay here. It has been a long month for you, have you been doing things meant for you?

( it's a question that has to be asked, because when it comes to her, she seems to forget, and he's aware she doesn't have an memory problems like he does. with a shake of his head, he finally turns to look at her properly, and he waits for her answer before he continues because that decides his next response. )

( his...? who. who are you talking about. komaeda please.............. why are white haired anime boys™️. but it looks like there's no one calling yet... if he gets one, should she leave?

and then such thoughts are scattered to the wind at his question. has she been doing things meant for her? ... she puts so much of her time into others- she got up finally for her classmates rather than herself, and others have to remind her to eat sometimes. she worked hard for them, but put less effort into her own costume.

A start... who knew it took death for your very own beginning.

( her actions are spilling over from the time of when she was alive, but there's always a time for change for those on the bottom of the food chain of hope. he's not disappointed, but he doesn't seem proud either, because a person's own hope stems from their decisions, and how they'd chase after it — she has some inside of her, one that he can tell from just sitting here, and he wonders if it all amounts to her ability of seeing ghosts. )

It's fine to be left behind, because when you act for yourself, you can go as fast as you want.

( everyone else you motivate so that they move quicker, become stronger, but their well-being is something they must find on their own; not for her to shoulder for them. )

Isn't it nice, to have that chance?
