In the evening after exams are over and everyone's already exhausted because of test taking and also the murder from a few days earlier (it's fine), there's a note posted on each dorm room's door indicating that there's going to be a SNOWBALL FIGHT in the courtyard in Noah's mildly-undecipherable handwriting, which is then followed by a couple rules...

1. Using magic isn't allowed (it's unfair to people who don't have it)
2. Don't put rocks in the snowballs
3. Don't KILL EACH OTHER

Those are the rules. Anyway, if you don't come join the snowball fight Noah Will come and shove snow down your shirt and run off, so you might as well come play with everyone else! There's like, three feet of snow on the ground probably, so making ice tunnels and forts and such for defense from flying snow is allowed and encouraged.

OOC notes: This is technically a mingle or something so please feel free to set up your own toplevels/starters or literally just start hurling snowballs at the first person who passes you by. Basically treat this like a network post and go off on each other! Also you do not have to snowball fight, all Snow Activities are allowed.

[He looked over at Noah and gave him a small smile. He held out the tea, the steam a clear indicator that it was still hot despite the temperature out here.]

I don't mind sharing.

[Hot springs sound nice, though... especially at this time of year.]

If you're ever able to visit my world... I would love to take you to one. The hot springs are wonderful.

[There's a moment of hesitance before Noah takes the offered mug with a tiny, polite smile of thanks. He takes a sip, and then hands it back — he won't drink all of it.]

There's been talk about that kind of thing going around. I want to visit other worlds. Not this one, and maybe not Elrios for a little bit.

[Since he... like, died there? You know? Sometimes Noah wonders if he and Clamor died somewhere far away from civilization where they'll never be found again, or if they died in some climactic fight somehow. Sometimes he wonders if Rosso or Ventus ever found them — if Rosso in all his anger for the general world would have cursed Noah for being stupid like he usually does or if he would've been sad.

For all the guy's rage and all the times Rosso's handed his ass to him, Noah has to admit that he misses him sometimes. They had a lot in common.]

What's it like, where you're from?

[God, don't even mention that, because Yukio's been thinking about the same thing lately. How did they die? The last thing he remembered was fighting Rin.

Everything was destroyed around them and they all but fell out of the sky and he and Rin just kept trying to kill each other.

They stopped... They had seemed to stop fighting, come to an understanding, and then the next thing he remembered he was waking up in the clocktower.

In truth, the only reasonable explanation was that they had killed each other.]

It's pretty normal. Similar to here, except... Without the Void and everything else. Our schools look like this, and we attend class just like this. Except.... Well, the academy that Rin and I attend is much bigger and also acts as a base of operations for exorcist as well as a school for them.

[He takes his tea again and takes another sip. It is there if Noah wants it.]

The world is filled with demons, of course, which we exorcist fight against. I think that's the only major difference.

Oh, so you're used to things like this?

[That's nice, maybe. For schooling. Noah tucks his legs against his chest and does not think about the fact that Snow On Ass is Cold. Absolutely not.]

I was homeschooled. There are some schools, like the one Clamor went to, but I was from a wealthy noble's family, so... I-I never got much of a formal education. When I came here, I didn't know half of what was expected. And I figured I'd get out sooner, so I didn't do homework for several months... I'm lucky I'm alive, given that failing finals this time meant dying.

I'm glad you're alive, though.

[He clears his throat, taking another sip and looking up at Noah.]

You and Rin are a lot alike, in that regard, honestly.

What, in not doing homework? I've started doing it as of... um... September!

[...because of Clamor, haha. Because of that whole fiasco with the death and the reveal that failing grades means dying.]

It's just... I never had to do it before. I think it's a waste of time. I'm not good at this standardized stuff. The only class I really care for is history, but I'm not even from this world, so I don't get half of what they're saying.

[He thought Americans were a race that had tails.]

Which is understandable. Our worlds are vastly different, so the fact that you’re struggling makes sense.

[He sets the now empty tea down and looks over at Noah.]

Rin, on the other hand does not have that excuse. He’s always just been really bad at school.

[Noah starts fidgeting with the snow in his hands as they talk. He doesn't know what he's building; so far he's just sort of pinching the snow into little peaks.]

I mean, I get it. School is hard.

[People who can do schoolwork and be good at it or even will themselves to just get things done in the first place... he doesn't get them.]

I like reading about things and learning on my own time. I don't like it when I have to learn so that I can regurgitate it for a test or an assignment.

[Noah thinks Yukio is wired, lets be real. Bitch is smart and passes classes with ease. I too would think he's weird.]

[He laughs a bit, but honestly he does understand. School isn't for everyone, and unfortunately for them-- and Rin-- it wasn't much of a choice.]

[Yeah Noah thinks Yukio is fucking weird, but Noah is also sapiosexual so like, maybe it's kinda hot tho.]

I guess so. I haven't talked to Rin too much. ...He has no idea about anything we've gotten up to, right...

[Is his face suddenly red from the gust of cold air or embarrassment? Take a pick, it’s probably both.

He clears his throat, suddenly wishing he had more tea.]

[Harque would probably not threaten Yukio verbally. But like, with his eyes, he might. The promise of dropping the moon on Yukio would be something in the back of his head.]

[He doesn’t think that Rin would do anything to threaten Noah if he did find out about the kiss…es they shared.]

Honestly, I’m not sure how he would respond. I think he’d be more surprised about the fact that you’re a boy than the fact that we kissed.
