Oh, I see- this is a matter of differing worlds again, I assume. We don't have any wizards or magic where I'm from, so we're probably speaking in different contexts!

It seems to be the case, though it also seems that most people I've met from other worlds are unfamiliar with wizards.

Well, it's less that people are unfamiliar with wizards, and more like magic is mostly fictional where I live.

And yeah- electricity and fuel mostly powers the world through various means. Advancements in technology and the like.

Heh, I suppose it does. Well, in technical terms, "fuel" usually falls under coal, gas or oil- things that can be burned in order to produce power.
