[ funny how figaro has found himself in a school after wrapping up a recent mission that involved a school... but this one looks a little more different from what he's used to. they only had schoolhouses in the south where rutile worked as a teacher and not sprawling buildings like this one, and not to mention the unfamiliar technology that range from vending machines to dated cellphones, to boot.

so now here he is - a rather tall man who looks too old to be wearing a school uniform (but still looks very good in it nonetheless) standing in front of a vending machine, stroking his chin as he surmises its contents. ]

There should be a way to get some food out of there, is it? [ mostly talking to himself, but if there's someone who happens to be around while he's being a boomer over here that'd be great ] I'm not too used to technology, I'm afraid. I don't even have any mana stones on me to activate it.

[ well that sure is a dead body in a case. figaro isn't even rattled at the sight of it, having seen so many himself. he does peer closer to get a better look at it... ]

Has anyone tried taking her out of the case yet? [ he lifts a hand as if to summon something in his palm, but no dice. ugh. ] Wonder how they kept her in such pristine condition. She should be rotting by now, if she were human.

[ then again, judging from the student body and faculty that act like he's been here for a while, who go in and out of the school like ghosts... well. this isn't the first time in a haunted school, at any rate. ]

iii.

[ a doctor like him would naturally gravitate towards the clinic, and after making a couple subtle winks with the resident school nurse (why), he heads over to the cot and presumably finding someone there - a fellow transfer, perhaps? ]

Oh? Are you taking a nap here as well?

[ figaro you're supposed to feign illness... but with his smile he should be in on the secret. he'd like some rest too, ok ]

Oh? Did I miss hear - doust we another magus among us? [ He walks past pausing promptly before the vending machine, his turn is tactile. Much like how any Knight would with his arms crossed behind his back. ]

[there's a particular bed in the infirmary that has its blankets drawn completely up, but given that they're loose rather than tucked in there's most likely someone laying completely still beneath it.

the fact there's a very small person-sized figure is also evidence to this.

will figaro lift the blanket..? perhaps it's another dead body. they've been finding a lot of them lately, after all.]

[ hm. maybe they don't want to be disturbed from their slumber. there aren't a lot of good places to sleep on when the clinic's closed for the night, and all.

but what the heck, figaro will take a peek anyway. and blink in surprise when he's greeted by the sleeping form of-- ]

[sleeping is a joke. but he peeks open an eye, arms crossed as if he were a cadaver in the making.]

Hohoho. I was wondering when you'd find me here, Figaro. You never were very good at hide and seek, were you?

[careful. he's seen the roster. he's been keeping his eyes on it, hoping to see his brother's name one day, and seeing figaro's (and then, later on, dear heathcliff's) had been a blow to the gut. white's happy, but it's still not snow.

but he is happy, and he will certainly show it by not worrying the other wizard!!! hell yeah, we are fine and dandy.]

( in all actuality, nene is there for genuine reasons- stress-induced illness is a lot when you're a 15 year old girl who never had to worry about murder on this level. but when an adult just suddenly comes in and blithely accuses her of simply sneaking in a nap, she's... completely baffled. sitting up reluctantly- and with minimal sway, thank goodness, nene just... looks up at him, confused. )

As far as I'm aware, people tried going near the case, but that doesn't seem to end well for literally anyone.

Hajun has felt lethargic all morning; he feels weak, sluggish, and the fact of the matter is everything is coming in so fast that his reality feels shaken. He doesn't like, he feels small and weak, and of course he uses the excuse that his body is so weak to fall asleep.

Of course, someone happens to ruin that just a moment after his eyes draw heavier and he's in the cusp of drifting off to sleep. ]

I don't know if it's sealed by vacuum or some other means, but I have to agree the body seems far too intact.
