( on february 2, transfer students will find that there are notes hung up around the dormitory with doctor's scrawl handwriting that a few people might recognize scribbled across it. it reads: )

TRANSFER MEETING
february 2, 5:00 p.m.
dorm common room

( the early-arrivers will find that amami is already set up in the common room, making himself comfortable on the far side of one of the couches with a sketchbook, but beyond a wave and a smile he won't offer much to speak of. it's only once it looks like there's a good handful of people that he'll glance around, grimace a bit, and speak up. )

So... I'm sure you guys already know why we're here, right?

( rest in piss, hiro. legend almost took two transfer students with him on his way. )

I know I might not be the person anyone wants to hear this from, but I figure everyone's had some time to gather evidence and any witnesses we might've had by now. I don't like the idea of this continuing more than anyone else, and if we want to keep it from happening again, it's probably best if we compile what we know.

( and unfortunately what he knows is nothing, because he was busy getting stabbed, so the floor is officially open. )

(ICly, this meeting begins on February 1. However, to keep us from trapping ourselves in another time cube, when things start to slow down, Amami will pitch that they regroup in a couple days. The details don't matter so much, but you can assume they'll come back for more discussion intermittently if anything new comes to light before Disney. This doesn't all have to be in one day! The last time Subaru killed someone he got so upset I found him lying facedown in the snow. All his smiles were forced. That's evidence I can bet on.

[ Sorry to reveal your practicum kills my fellow gingey but he was not...unaffected by that. Maya and Hiro were also his friends, making it even less likely he'd be upset. Look, she'd known all this last time she'd accused Subaru, and he hadn't cracked an inch. He'd been upset, honest, and genuine, exactly how she'd expect. Either he's the best liar she's ever met, or he's truely innocent. She didn't go out of her way to accuse Subaru and Amami last time so they could waste time here again! ]

I didn't browbeat him anyway, we talked as friends. He's your friend too, Sou. We've already suspected him, and we found nothing, so we should move on.

You might be a teacher, but you're a transfer student as well. It goes without saying that we don't play by the same rules as the non-transfers around here, right? [The way the non-transfer students become shadow students, for one.] Were you alone in there, or did anyone else happen to be with you before you went to the student council room? What had you been up to in there before you noticed the note?

Only the council members have keys, so they can enter and exit the room as they please.

( that's what makes the room so special. there's no way to use the crawlspace to come from above, and there's no way to come from below. it's a locked room murder, and how did someone get inside without the keys is the mystery. )

Considering the late Arisu-san, there's no way she'd let them do anything so sloppy. Keys... how would one get a key?

I didn't know Maya Arisu myself... That goes for the rest of the student council as well. Nevertheless, is it completely impossible that one of them was persuaded to open the door at some point? After all, no one can walk through solid walls, can they? And someone else... locked it later?

I guess... that'd just be taking a jog in the morning, going to class, then to the music room -- whether we've got club or not I like goin' up there to see if I can catch Maya-san, 'cause I love to hear her play -- and eventually back to the dorms once I've got all my socializing out the way. Um~, I usually hang out with Ama-chan if he's free, Natsume even if he isn't, Maddy and I have hijinks sometimes... I like spending time with Sasara, and I'll usually swing by the library to see Harupyon, and I drop off lunch with Boss. Sometimes I'll stick around and chat too, as long as it's not busy. And I'll pretty much tag along with any of my friends if I think they're going someplace interesting, or if I wanna hang out with them, like Lena~.

[the usual. and he has a lot of friends, each of whom he looks at in turn. and then back to inaba.

So I was probably doing some combination of those back then. Days sorta just blur together if you don't have anything special planned, y'know? After all that, I toss and turn in bed until I fall asleep 'cause I still have a hard time with it. It's that weird creep towards midnight, y'know...? When everything goes super quiet. I really don't like it.

Unlocking the door of persuaded, I wonder who has enough influence to make someone do so? They wouldn't open for me, but you seem pretty terrifying.

( though, alice has an alibi, and he wasn't here when everything had happened which removes him as a suspect. or unless he didn't wake up in time, and the old him murdered before officially waking up. )

Then that's no good right? If someone was persuaded, they'd have to come back, but that's risky... because VP-san also appeared, right? Then there's two keys, or... maybe VP-san didn't need a key, and opening any door is accessible to her? Hm...
