( on february 2, transfer students will find that there are notes hung up around the dormitory with doctor's scrawl handwriting that a few people might recognize scribbled across it. it reads: )
TRANSFER MEETING
february 2, 5:00 p.m.
dorm common room
( the early-arrivers will find that amami is already set up in the common room, making himself comfortable on the far side of one of the couches with a sketchbook, but beyond a wave and a smile he won't offer much to speak of. it's only once it looks like there's a good handful of people that he'll glance around, grimace a bit, and speak up. )
So... I'm sure you guys already know why we're here, right?
( rest in piss, hiro. legend almost took two transfer students with him on his way. )
I know I might not be the person anyone wants to hear this from, but I figure everyone's had some time to gather evidence and any witnesses we might've had by now. I don't like the idea of this continuing more than anyone else, and if we want to keep it from happening again, it's probably best if we compile what we know.
( and unfortunately what he knows is nothing, because he was busy getting stabbed, so the floor is officially open. )
(ICly, this meeting begins on February 1. However, to keep us from trapping ourselves in another time cube, when things start to slow down, Amami will pitch that they regroup in a couple days. The details don't matter so much, but you can assume they'll come back for more discussion intermittently if anything new comes to light before Disney. This doesn't all have to be in one day! Feel free to PM/ping me anywhere if you'd like me to add any other helpful links. )

PART ONE RECAP
[She says those words rather simply and without much emotion outside of just plain old exhaustion, but that comes with the whole 'being stuck in a murder meeting' thing.]
First of all, let's start with the vice principal. She was found in the area outside of the auditorium. She had injuries that were consistent to a fall with cracked skin and several broken bones. Her body was also burned. We'll come back to that fact later.
In the faculty office, there was a note written by Maya Arisu, the former student council president that requested her to go to the student council room. It was confirmed that it was her handwriting. There were also short orange hairs in the vicinity that matched Subaru's as well.
And then we have the student council room, which was found locked. As far as I'm aware, the only way to get into the room is by using a key that can open it. According to Miyuki, the room smelled faintly of chlorine, and Maya Arisu was found nailed to the ceiling by her joints with nails. There was no damage to her uniform, but there were splotches of skin that ranged from red and irritated to blistered, comparable to what one might have to a hot shower.
Both Maya and the vice principal's skin damage are distinctly different; if anybody took any photos to share with those who missed it, that'd be great.
That's it for those two, anyway.
Separately, on the fourth floor, a bare, muscular arm that was... uh, torn off at the shoulder? Was found on the fourth floor. The area was apparently covered and scratched and there was a lot of blood that lead to the bathroom.
There was a cracked mirror with a bloody handprint on it that was roughly around the size of an adult--an older teenish? I believe someone said that Ishimaru and the bare arm were the closest matches. The trail also apparently looked like something was dragged, as well. Also, that's where Stephanie was found, unconscious. She was laying in a pool of blood, but didn't have any visible injuries. And I think there was a mention of something about her soul, but I'm no expert on that part, so I'd rather leave it to someone else to talk about it.
And I think that's the basics of it. Leave your questions, comments, concerns and theories out there, I guess. Oh, and I suppose if I'm missing anything, feel free to mention it. I wasn't exactly around to see all of this, so a lot of my information is based on what I was told, after all.
remember how I said "oh Lucifer will answer the soul thing" and then I forgot to do that. yeah.
[Because he thinks that damn wolf is still at large, he and Sidney and Shin as far as he knows, but Inaba is giving straight facts so he'll follow her rules to keep things sane.]
Stephanie's soul was fragmented when I saw her asleep in our first meeting. It was in a similar state to that of Narumi Ito's soul after Clamor's doppelganger set upon him with a spell that tears souls out of bodies. The degrees of severity between Stephanie's soul and Narumi's soul vary, however. Whereas Narumi was on death's door, Stephanie seemed to be simply asleep. She woke up fine and, to my knowledge, hasn't succumbed to her soul being fragmented. I'll allow Stephanie to speak on how she feels, exactly, if it's all the same to you.
[That all being said...]
A fragmented soul effectively means that the soul has shattered like glass. Something is likely holding the remnants together in Stephanie's case, unlike in Narumi's, where we had to hunt fragments of it and almost stitch him back together. I cannot speak on what could be holding Stephanie together at this time, as soul magic is a complex subject. It could be her willpower alone, it could be something more supernatural, it could be a stabilizing spell cast on her, et cetera.

There's something I've been meaning to confirm. I understand why my hairs would've been found in the student council room, but I still don't understand why Akehoshi's would've been found in the faculty office.
Care to comment on that one, Akehoshi?

Isn't there a teacher with a hair color similar to YOURS? It could be HIS.
( childe just wasn't at the last meeting to get tested )

Childe's hair is a little darker from what I've seen. Besides, Subaru's hair is an exact match. He's still a suspect... even without Childe.
[Sorry not sorry bro.]

[I'm sorry Noah gets really mad whenever people start accusing Childe :(]

( a sigh. )
HonestLY, Ebalon-kun. You're smarter than THIS.

I suppose you'd like to compare all of them again instead? Ahaha, I'm sure you won't be biased.
[Natsume has a point about Miyuki's hair being there given there were also plenty of black ones. But the orange hair... no, Shin knows what he saw.]

And— ( he pauses, lips pursing, before he continues: ) I won't BE. It's more important to find the truth than it is for me to hide a murderer—it isn't like I'm gaining anything from it anyWAY.
( if anything, he's unarguably the maddest here about the twins' murders, but. anyway. )

I-I know, but— things like that can lead to false accusations...
[He shuffles a bit, and then huffs out,]
Sorry. I didn't mean to be rude.

You don't know? There's no reason you would've went into the faculty office? Even for a moment?

[ Not after she gave him her biggest, saddest puppy dog eyes and asked him point blank if his motive was Keigo. ]
However...Um...do you leave your hairbrush lying around by any chance?

That said, this is less to pinpoint him as a culprit and more to paint a better picture of what happened.

Nope~? I usually just run my hands through my hair and go, but if I really need it I'll use Natsume's brush.

[Ignore him, he's being a priss... albeit one with a point. Sara has a point too about the brush, but that'll bubble back up in another nearby post.]
Even being generous... just because someone thinks they're telling the truth doesn't mean they can't be mistaken, ahaha. We need to apply logic here, not go off from how people are acting.
[Because they could, well, be acting. His paranoias...]

[ He's having a hard time with this one-- ]
Out of curiosity. Were you and Ishimaru ever caught or scolded for your pranks?
no subject
[but they were scolded... well,]
I was scolded more than Ishiban, I think, 'cause I kept laughing thinking about it. He actually apologized.
