It's late into the evening when the noise in the dormitories start to die down and people start heading back to their rooms for the night, that the white noise can heard in the relative quiet. A hiss, like white noise but harsher, the TV static of a VCR player once a movie ends and hasn't been turned off. Those with particularly good hearing and in neighboring rooms would be drawn to the hallway of the Suns, where the hissing claws at the door from inside Sun 2.

A knock on the door results in silence. The doorknob rattles when tried. Light peeks out from underneath.

okay, he's no longer upset and he'll smile at rika because he's... like that. he suggest that alice gets the tank out from the room, and they can regroup in the commons to clean the tank, and her and komaeda can get what they need to clean it,

hurry so there's no ghost fish!!

Alice will make haste to carry that tank to their agreed upon meeting place! No ghost fish...

YAAAAY!!! he waits for alice to bring the tank AND clean it because as soon as they go in the tank...

they're going to keep it with them... safe... does alice like fish

Yay indeed, for the fish appear to be safe in their cleaned home, with enough space to swim in peace, and no fear of cramped cups getting knocked over to anger Add and put them at risk of dying horribly! What a relief. And since this is clearly important to Komaeda, the fish will be looked after diligently!

Pet fish that are alive and well are easier to like than dead fish...

Komaeda looks at Alice as the fish swim around, and he asks if they tell the fish something nice every day about the previous owners, will they remember them?

He knows the answer, but he just wants to talk... ramble, he wants Alice to talk to the fish every day too!!

So if they return... the fish can tell them all the nice things they said! They're going to bring Add because he would love Lil Dumpy.

It's a touching idea, and even if the fish can't remember or hear anything, it's not as if there's any harm in sharing nice memories with them... Obviously Komaeda knew the previous owners well, whereas Alice didn't, but he can contribute, having been entrusted with something that shouldn't be taken lightly!

Komaeda will pat the floor next to him, it's like a silent request that they sit together and watch the fish. Komaeda wants to tell him all about the orandas, and how he searched for books for Amami because Komaeda wanted to get a jellyfish, it's story time!!

Amami and Komaeda must have been good friends, so this is surely painful... The fish may not be able to hear, but Alice will sit and listen attentively!
