SSSSSSSSssssssssssssssssss...

It's late into the evening when the noise in the dormitories start to die down and people start heading back to their rooms for the night, that the white noise can heard in the relative quiet. A hiss, like white noise but harsher, the TV static of a VCR player once a movie ends and hasn't been turned off. Those with particularly good hearing and in neighboring rooms would be drawn to the hallway of the Suns, where the hissing claws at the door from inside Sun 2.

A knock on the door results in silence. The doorknob rattles when tried. Light peeks out from underneath.

Action: Trying to get the door open...if it's only rattling she's going to start trying to kick it. She can't lockpick but she has determination and stupid endurance for being so short.

The door seems to be locked, and there is no other sound from the other side other than the hissing in between kicks. It seems to her that the door can be opened by:
1) somebody with the room key
2) somebody skilled in lockpicking
or 3) somebody with determination and stupid endurance who will keep at it until the door is broken off its hinges

Mira said in discord "can somebody help lockpick the door" and well Lucifer loves Helena so he just fucking full body tackles the door, this is after he wakes up from his hex-induced coma so he's ready to beat the fucking door in

Action: At some point Nanami's been drawn by the sounds and has been standing in the door, face twisted in horror and crying silently. But while Helena's going through the bunks, Nanami's gonna check the TV to see if there's a video that was playing before, and if so, rewind it and play it from the beginning.

Chiaki rewinds the video and finds that it's a nature documentary, specifically, Wolves at Our Door, which is a movie people may or many not have seen laying around the dorms before. It's one that Keigo liked a lot, and never got tired of watching.

She can fast forward through it from beginning to end, but nothing seems out of place about the movie. The credits roll and the movie ends, turning off on its own and filling the room with TV static once more.

Just kind of sinks to her knees after the movie turns off. Hits the power button on the television to fill the room with heavy silence.

Action: Well, things are winding down for the day-- time to head to the common room to decompress.

...even though there's a commotion going on, apparently?

Miyuki heads to the common room to decompress, looking around to see the two smiling portraits on the wall, three coffins, an arcade machine, and probably other things I'm forgetting but it's still an okay room for decompressing if you close your eyes. Nothing looks out of place in the common room.

Action: Checking to see if there's anything in here that's off--she's heard the screaming and is staying far away from that mess, so might as well check in the adjacent areas for any evidence. There doesn't seem to be anything different or otherwise significant about the study hall, and Rika gets the sense she should look elsewhere

Action: Just looking around idly. Maybe she'll build a little cairn with some of her many gatcha rocks.

Her gacha rocks... It's dark out there in the forest, and chilly despite the number of trees surrounding her on all sides. With the number of people exploring the forest lately, she may be able to spot trails where the dying spider lilies have been trampled to the ground.

[ There's too much action happening in the dorms right now and Nanami needed some space to clear her head. Sara will happen upon her in a small clearing, leaned up against a tree and looking through something in her bag. When Sara approaches she'll startle-- oh. ]

Sara-san... [ She relaxes again and goes back to examining inside her bag. ] You needed some air too?

Action: SIGHS DEEPLY...... subaru'll take keigo's body once things are all investigated out, he'll have complicated feelings on amami once some things get worked out investi wise since he KNOWS SOME THINGS...

... actually he is going to pull keigo away from amami so he can hug them himself, no one bother him for like five minutes he needs this don't ask if he's crying. i was curious anyway so is there anything squished between them, i wanna know what the heck keigo was doing with all those pictures they took with subaru's camera... which he'll take since it's now a precious memory item he's gonna take pictures of things he wanted to share with keigo

so order is cry silently into his late-bf's still warm body that's fucked up > polaroid camera > hm where are they anyway for easy reading

There is nothing squished between them and Subaru can retrieve the polaroid camera, the camera feeling as heavy on his chest as his heart inside it.

He knows that Keigo has been taking pictures, and maybe mentioned putting together a photo album or scrapbook of sorts. Since they work during work time and come back to the dorms afterwards, their photos are probably somewhere in this room.

Action: Fingerprinting the fish cups and hot chocolate mugs

They dust the cups for fingerprints and find them kind of a mess, sort of like when you live in a communal space and a single cup passes through dozens of hands, and especially in the case of the hot chocolate mugs, the prints are smudged in a way that suggests they've been turned on your hand when it's still too hot to hold.

These cups seem to be too messy to pinpoint any one specific person besides maybe Keigo and Amami who were drinking from the hot chocolate mugs, but fingerprints aren't necessary to solve this case. I think you guys already know who did it, and just need the rest of the "how"

Action: Just putting it on record since enh gave me the okay on this: Ranger will be taking Amami's body once the investigation is done. He will also take the contents of Amami's pockets (PDA w/ keychain, earnest compass, lighter, adderstone, mirror shard, selenite,) which will be placed in his room.

Action: Can he get in, his stuff is in there... closes eyes, can this be his safe, feeling emo place.

Oh I forgot about the student store. Uhh he can enter and retrieve his things, but the back room remains locked and if anybody steals anything from the store, one bone in their body will break with each step they take. Keigo's dead so Komaeda's things are his own again.

Can Komaeda guard this like his lair, can he sell stuff for if Keigo comes back. He doesn't have to do any of the important selling just the suncatchers and the charms
