nonetheless, dito follows him, curiosity getting the better of him — and add getting his blood on things all the moreso. that's dito's love language, after all. ]

it only serves to make dito increase his step pace, moving up next to the other whether he likes it or not. ]

I wasn't doing anything to impress you. [seething, he is on the brink of violence here... the shard starts to crack, pressure building within the tiny space around it.

... but he can tell when he's being goaded. Dito is so fucking annoying, he wants Add to pick a fight...

hairline cracks... but it doesn't shatter. he doesn't snap, not even at Dito, because... he's already made one mistake today that's weighing heavy in his chest. something too unsettling and terrifying to admit to or even acknowledge... what would it mean, to say that he's scared of what he can do, how easy it is to do it? what does that mean?

he looks to the courtyard ahead of them instead, the school, aged and decrepit and just as easy to break as brittle bones. a miserable little world he's found himself in, and yet...

it's only here, where the consequences don't exist, that he feels comfortable in destroying it. maybe it's better not to think about it at all.

he wants to break something, so the first thing he does once they're close enough is shatter all the windows on the side of the school building. just a tiny shift in gravity, and—boom.]

[ he's walking and he's talking, and he can tell add is getting irritated — but that's amusing to him at the least, and exciting at the most.

it's when the windows break that dito stops in his tracks, spinning to look at what add's just done. and he knows it's add. he doesn't quite get how the other's abilities work per se, but they sure are fascinating.

dito grins before turning back to give add his full attention, jerking his thumb behind him. ]
