It's time for another FAMILY MEETING!!
[There's a sign posted on 3-C on the 27th the future is now indicating that it's that time of month! That's right, it's time for the family meeting!
Lucifer is in charge this time and he is holding a whip, so please behave yourselves or you might get a warning crack near your head. Or don't behave yourselves. He's not your dad. He will, however, try his hardest to keep you all on track.
As Lucifer is also one of the TeamMoms Dads, he's also made everybody lunch as he is wont to do. The rather fancy-looking food is set up on a couple of desks at the front of the classroom to peruse at your leisure. There are cookies and muffins as well, but please try to eat a real lunch instead of subsisting off of sweets entirely.
On the whiteboard, Lucifer has written the following topics & talking points that he'd like to discuss with everybody, and has requested that you all raise your hands so that this can be done in an orderly fashion...Good luck, Luci.
Last but not least, the final bullet is one hundred percent something that Lucifer clearly wants to do, and it reads simply:
So that's... fun.]
Let's try to keep this more orderly than the last one, shall we?
[And yes, the cardboard baby jail is set up in the back of the classroom! Naughty children go to cardboard baby jail. Naughtier children get a whip cracked at them. Have fun, everyone!]
[[OOC: The usual rules of the family meeting posts apply, which means threadjacking/general mingling is allowed and encouraged! Please remember to only share information your character discovered ICly to avoid metagaming. Also no Lucifer will not actually cause physical harm to anyone's characters with the whip unless player permission is granted, I'm not as psychotic as he is, don't worry about it.]]

- Who is missing? Who is confirmed deceased?
- The gladiatorial battle — is it possible that those who died previously may come back to inflict further harm? Any guesses?
- What the Hell was going on last weekend?
- The void in the auditorium is infinite
- Results of last month's investigations that we agreed on doing
- The imps plaguing the school have been removed (thank you to Clamor for his assistance)
- Have we discovered anything new?
Last but not least, the final bullet is one hundred percent something that Lucifer clearly wants to do, and it reads simply:
- Instating a chore chart

Of Vice and Vitrue .
So with that, she interjects after sleeping for like a little bit. Not against the issues surrounding Saihara now that he is injured. Feelings are roaring, and things are battle crazy. It's in her nature to want to subjugate what is going on, even if her own youth you could call it. Is in the wrong to. She is her and she does what Nanami does best.
She slaps the table in the same way Sonia would, when trying to draw attention. ]
... I understand we have issues with the situation going on but it seems we would rather fixate on making matters worse and turning to killing each other. Which is exactly what this place wants us to do.
Saihara noticed it first, remember his PDA message? And what he just said... He was concerned over the Merit points becoming the main thing of importance which is something that we all get when we participate in this school. [ Just by simply interacting with others, you get points. Just like Hope Fragments. ] If the murder was outed first before he clarified his own information - that he needed to gather. What would have happened to every single one of us? What could have occurred?
[ She wants you to think but she also has a lot she has to say and with how her gears turn. How upset she absolute is at Komaeda, despite knowing something worse happened to him and the he refuses to tell her anything. That he has yet again acted out of his own accord for other by murdering someone for all intents and purposes - innocent. There was so much issue with all of this, but it is also obvious that... ]
Not only that... I understand he needed to collect himself and face the issue on his own. In the end you can tell Saihara-san is not okay with what Komaeda did. None of us are, we can all agree with that.
... The School makes it apparent that participating in killing games with one another, or just killing each other is something normal.... [ She looks over at Ishimaru, who had to kill just to escape the cruel fate that was forced upon him. ] But we know this is wrong. Do you really wanna lose who you all are as people? ... Are you really going to sit here and say that you are going to decide who gets to live or die? [ Now this is sensitive, she is created as an individual to make sure people who were thought to have been cold born killers. Unable to come back from their own actions, and promote the belief that any one person can change. She would in fact, die for it. Even if she is wrong and that people do not change, she believes this whole heartedly in her heart and very well will stand by it regardless of what you say. ] We dont get to do that, this school is changing every single one of us.... If we don't try to acknowledge that and focus on what is going on around us, instead of constantly pointing fingers at each other. We will get nowhere.
[ Killing is wrong, that is the fundamental fact. However there was reasons for ones actions, and ultimately IT IS IN FACT possible to come back from your own wrong doings. So long as you face what it is you have done. No matter what happens, that is what class 77-B had done and upon their earned freedom would do. ]
.... We do need to figure out what to do with Komaeda. [ Because yes, he is someone who like a loose canon will operate on his own violation. ] However none of us MUSNT kill each other. [ Or thats it. Youve lost yourself, youve submit to the school. ]
It is also very apparent from what Natsume has told us, and Saihara has said. As well as Lucifer - that he was possessed.... The school is continuing to change... Do things.... And make it harder for us to cope through.... We seen it all, with our own eyes? Why are you acting as if what Natsume had done was something preventable? It is horrible that he killed someone, and then thought in his own assumptions that he had to kill Chiaki. That is on him, and he has to live with that. [ As in, everyone who hate shim. Everyone who wants him dead. He will have to live with that, and move forward continuing on. Nanami believes in him. Even if she cant say that... Right now... But dw shes coming for you bitch. ] BUt we need tdo stop acting like we are any better than them, and try to kill them for it. We are better than this. [ Her voice is strained, she is tired. There is so much going on in her own head regarding the truth of herself. The issues surrounding Komaeda, and the whole mystery of this school. ] Please...
[ Overall this is about her want to change the topic into fixing things - not with killing one another. Or each others anger - not when it was so obvious from the looks of everyone's faces that they were all dejected. Lost. Struggling all with their own individual issues - if they didn't have this... If they cannot overcome this and some how come together - then what else would they have? They cant let this school win - they cant let despair win. ]

Nanami-san, I know these are important things to discuss, but... don't you think we should do this another time?
Talking over this within ten minutes of learning their identities isn't going to get us anywhere. People are hurt, and injured besides that — the only answers we're going to reach right now are going to be reactive. At the very least, we should take some time to think this over.
no subject
Everyone is getting continuously angry at one another, [ This was to stop the accusations of trying to murder each other to solve what was going on. ]and rather then continue to point at each other.... Its important to take it a step back. Please make sure to attend to Saihara-san and Rika, they should be okay in your care.
[ She nods her head toward the other. Frankly she hopes that he can take them to another room where the stress of what was going on around them wouldn't overwhelm them thusly. ]
no subject
Getting continuously angry at one another is exactly why everyone needs time to cool off. Do you really think we're going to be able to get our thoughts in order here and now with everything that's happened?
( he crosses his arms, grimacing. )
You're right that we need to take a step back. We need to step back from this conversation right now so that we can return to it with a clear head.
no subject
... People do need to cool off you are right. [ That isnt who she is talking to tho, there are still many others who have so many questions. Seeking answers and want to solve what is going on. At least to keep a level head flowing between all of them. Nanami places her hand on her chest, the moment still is vital now. If they leave with such disarray between them. There is bound to be a lot of issues going on. Especially since it seems like everyone is contending with their own decisions on what to do next. ]
... I am sorry you felt that way.... If it is too much, you should step away too and come back so we can discuss the things going on.... Or we can talk about it later. [ Especially since... She thinks on how her own death occurred, seemingly speaking neutral and encouraging the other to do what they need to do. In order to feel better about the situation that they are in. Especially Amiami, who is in the middle of all of it right now. Trying to shoulder the burden of many of their friends. ]

so when amami steps up, so does rika, still covered in saihara's blood. )
Shut up. Who died and made you King, huh? If all you can do is preach, join a fucking monastery. ( she spits, eyes narrowed, expression sharp. ) We need to do something about Koma-kyun, but Sakasaki's fine just walking around with the weight of four lives on him, huh? Isn't that hypocritical as hell? We don't know if he got possessed. This is all hearsay at best, until there's tangible proof. He wasn't "possessed" when he took my best friend's life.
( not to mention, the people he consciously threw out of the window, who were still alive... )
If you wanna talk to me, @ me next time. ( scoffing, she crosses her arms over her chest. ) I did what I did because I give a shit. At least I did something instead of acting holier-than-thou and spewing shit nobody has the time to hear right now. Get a fucking grip.
( she's done. )

(Oh hey remember that scary robot? Well they're back to being intimidating again. They're not actually trying to approach or grab her though, just standing nearby and watching. Maybe looming in a semi threatening way that uses the fact that they're taller than anyone else to their advantage.)
Nanami-Chiaki wants to discourage others from taking similar actions. She cares about you.
no subject
( she scoffs. )
I'm not gonna listen to a piece of metal talk to me about what I can and can't get hurt and upset about. And how is that discouraging? She literally said we're gonna let the guy who killed four people off the hook 'coz he claims he was possessed. Anyone can feel free to go kill now, 'cause if they claim they weren't in their right mind, they're gonna get people to believe them on their word alone.

[ After stabbing Saihara and seeing that it ultimately hurt them heavily. Rika is young - fifteen to be exact, and her feelings of anger become volatile. Just like everyone elses here, lost in how she feels rather then thinking about things fit what they are. ]
... Natasume killed someone and what they did is unforgivable. [ This is fact. ] It is wrong, but he brought up a fact that possession pushed him over the edge and this is important to talk about more than trying to decide what to do with him when all you want to do is kill him for what was done.... How is that going to solve what happened to him or who he killed?

( he's attuned to a symbol of hope, knows where they are, can feel them, and basks in their light that they offer to the world around them. he cares for every single one, he doesn't know how to not when it's all he's ever had. hope is simultaneously one of the most dangerous yet beautiful things to ever spark in a person, that's how komaeda feels around all his ultimates — right now, though... it's a different story. when he watches nanami, the female that shares the face of his old classmate, he wonders would she had done this, would she have taken this sort of initiative. he thinks back to his school days, his thoughts wander to how he called her their hope, and he firmly believes that.
he was tricked in the simulation, fooled just like everyone else because he lacked memories, but unlike then, he has them now. )
You're irritating me.
( he doesn't care who overhears at this rate, besides, if most of the conversation was about him, he could easily ignore it. sadly, it's not, it's about the hope of every individual here, that's something they can't control — hope is meant to be free, as for despair, that's what they contain. )
I expected better from you, a Symbol of Hope that's meant to bask those in your light, but if anyone is blinded by this place, it's you.
( if komaeda was younger, naive, then maybe he wouldn't speak like this — but he's older, he's cut from a piece of despair from what he's been through. he's playing his role as a stepping stone and a sinner, he's carrying his weight for what he does, and how he does it. as he listened to her speak, he remembers her words from the kitchen: )
You asked me to help your hope... ( which he'd do, but as he continues to speak, his voice sounds disgusted: ) to allow you to be a stepping stone... but that's a completely foolish thought from something like you. ( she knows why, her data shouldn't allow her to go that far, but maybe that's the trick of this school — if it's really changing them, then she herself has been warped. from one who cried in his chest to beg him not to kill anymore, to going this far to reprimand others in some sort of control to limit them... maybe this is visible corruption. )
Your attempt at it is unflattering... what's beautiful about a cage withholding hope from the world? They're meant to prosper, and grow stronger from what happens... true hope can be born from overcoming despair.
no subject
[ It's that simple, only because it's the truth. Neutral, why komaeda is fishing for a response from her marks her as strange but it is what it is. ]
... In the end everyone will do what they want. The least we can do is talk it out before going seperate ways. What do they want to do? What for?
[ Feelings that hold importantance, over attempting to kill each other. Komaedas selfishness instilling on others in their attempt to help has been doing the opposite. As she recalls Noah, Crona, Nene, and Hinata let alone other small moments.]
no subject
( komaeda knows what he's about, what he wants to do, and how to do it — he'll act in any way to make sure their hope grows. be it killing, be it sacrificing his own life, when it comes down to it, his own act was that to make their hope even stronger. it did do what he expected, and he saw bonds comes together even though they didn't know. it's enough to satisfy him, but with what's happening now —
an ultimate being hurt because they protected an untalented, and the hope of a young girl wavering — there's even the pieces of a puzzle that's not fully put together between them all. there's a long sigh, if this is what nanami decides to do as an ultimate then all komaeda can do is do what he'd do for everyone too. )
Witnessing such despairing instances like this is fine, let it go up in flames and spread wildly, because once it's all burned out... what's leftover will blossom beautifully.
no subject
Ne, ne.... Why cant you trust me? Like you asked me to trust you with Akira-san? [ Regarding the plan to pursue Akira but she is thankful that, it had not happened and they focused on building trust instead. In the end she was happy to have trusted Komaeda in that moment. Or maybe she was fooled? ] You have been working hard this whole time, I think its time you sat down... You have a lot to think about, and what you've done.... This isn't something for you to stand up and speak on every ones behalf.

Her attempt is likely to go over poorly: the organics in this room are highly agitated, and her words are likely to make them defensive, less rational and willing to comprehend what she is attempting to say.
It will be a failure.
They have watched similar failures many times.
The Geth do not intervene, have not intervened. Not when the admirals turned against Creator Tali'Zorah. Not even when the Quarian civilians were gunned down for protesting the destruction of the Geth.
Their people are gone. They are tired.
It is time, they think, to act.
After a moment of consideration, they come to stand beside Nanami, eye glowing bright and arms crossed over their chest.)
We will assist with preventing further attempts at murder.

She is glad that the other mashed suggestion but she wonders what sort of answer is?
How does one stop the killing when everyone here wants to kill?
Nanami looks over the other and then states, ]
... I wonder if there is a bigger reason as to why the killings happen?
[ If they can figure that out, such as the Schools innerworkings then perhaps...? ]
no subject
(It's because they threatened the faculty.)
Violence among students is ignored, but hostility toward members of building staff is not tolerated.
(Clearly, the goal here is to make them murder. Legion doesn't know why, but they'd assume there's some kind of bigger reason, some kind of motive.)

... The Faculty...?

Nanami wouldn't have had a 15% chance of winning, but she would have probably been a better leader then Sara if she could stand up and say something like that and really mean it. Sou would have liked her. ]
Nanami-san...You're a very kind person aren't you? [It comes out a bit small and reedy when she says it, so Sara clears her throat in embarrassment. ]
Drawing ire to say what's right is hard...but we all need to move forward together! I was thinking this over myself and I just wish we could have supported everyone better that they could trust someone else to share their burdens.
[She looks away, brushing her bangs through her fingers. Sara is usually a pretty direct person yet this is the one thing she can't look a single person in the eye about. ]
But Nanami-san...I just want to ask something personal. What do you think about someone whose killed? Not for any great reason, just for their own sake?
UGHH THIS IS SO GOOOD IM YELLiNg
When Nanami does not think that way what so ever, and her intent had been entirely to veer conversation in more important matters.
That dying was not okay, that killing is not okay. Everyone here agrees to that. She validated their claims in what she voiced - validated that their hurt was righteous. That their want for justice is okay, but that turning knives to one another is exactly what this school wants. Or what excatly they shouldn't do.
In everyone's anger for answers - and the need for solutions.
Nanami wanted that to be their focus, if they can solve things with their hands and focus on something constructive then... That was one less problem for them to think about. With the air of so much death ringing over everyone shoulders - and the potential for more people to die as they go about their endeavours.
It was important NOW more then ever, to talk. To calm down, look at each other and think about pragmaticism.
Her words were left open for others to peel off of, because she knows not everyone will feel the same. She knows there is too much anger for those who had acted - Rika, Komaeda, Natsume.... Too much going on.
The rest of them, COULD NOT follow suit.
There was a lot going on, but it was not impossible from all of this to come together and push forward. ]
..
[ It isnt always anyone ever asks for her opinion, she is someone who is crafted to entitle those around her. Uplift those about her, to feel how they should be... Yet when it came to something like this, it hit her especially hard because she has friends who have killed and killed relentlessly... Heartlessly... In the most fucked up ways. She still calls them friends. ]
... In the end they are still a person, with feelings and thoughts all the same... [ How does she say this where its not, condoning another's actions for what they had done like Natsume. While also holding them accountable for what had occurred? ] Someone who had to get to a point where they thought killing was the only thing necessary, even though they were - are completely wrong.
[ Shes saying... The obvious but its just that simple... The reason why its complicated is because of convoluted feelings everyone holds onto. They are right for doing as much. ]
... Someone who has killed has done wrong, but they can face their own actions and move forward from it.... I know there are many people here, who have killed someone in the past... As if that is the only answer, but we saw with how Ishimaru-san.... [ She clutches her chest upset... ] With their own reasons, in doing what they had... Do you really think any one of us is glad that someone had to die? Or Kill?
... Do we all really just want to kill someone, just to make a wrong right? When we all know its wrong to kill anyway? Its not... We can do better, someone whose killed can do better. We can move forward from it like you said together.
the morals [okay hand]
Completely wrong, huh? No matter what. [ Her tone isn't mocking as she repeats Chiaki's words back. Its true. Yet it isn't true, is it. She knows what her mind thinks is true, what she really felt when she saw someone die due to her own actions. But she wanted to live, didn't she? Even now. ] Its never the answer for you, is it?
[What a kind yet utterly distant person. ]
I didn't say anything about anyone being glad... I just wanted to know what you thought, Nanami-san. Things are much nicer when nobody has to die.
STOP
To her answers were always going to be there, they are common sense. They are knowledge once they are found. In the same manner Saihara had come forward with the truth of all of it. ]
... There is always an answer. [ She says, tightly. ] Merely because it wrong doesn't mean that the answer is right.
[ SHIROU VOICE JUST BECAUSE IM WRONG DOESNT MEAN YOUR RIGHT!! Im jk, the point is. It is wrong to kill, but it is right to move forward and make amends with what concurred. No matter the horrific truth of it. Getting to that point is going to take time - that is all she is doing.
Starting that conversation. The one no one wants to hear, the one that will take months before anyone can settle with the idea that people around them are capable of killing. For no reason, for many reasons. They need to confer that it is wrong yes, but that you can move forward from wrong doings. You can heal from wrong doings. You can move on from wrong doings. ]
... If someone does something wrong, the thing you need to do is fix it. Ending something is just an easy alternative to what is harder to do... Ah... When something breaks. Like a game counsel. To throw it away like it was nothing, or try to fix it?
[ Although a simple example... It is one none-the-less. ]
In order to fix it though, you need to realize what is actually wrong with what happened. [ And in this instance, it was killing someone. Several someone's. Even if she understands the reason and the answer is most true. The fact of the matter was that someone was capable enough to end another persons life. That this alone is enough to draw fear in other peoples eyes, enough to want to kill the mself.
Which is why.
They need to contend with the idea of Killing being wrong. To stop that. To try to heal from this. ] .. Things are nicer if nobody has to die, and I know everyone here believes that deep down or wants that.

Pause. Stop. Enough. ]
You almost sound like you want to single Komaeda-kun out and incriminate him, while the other culprit remains innocent for... being in a "possessed" state? Are you mad? [ His boyish tone is long gone, his expression much more matured; for once Hajun appears and expresses himself with all his critical pessimism and age. ] I personally don't believe that a execution is necessary, but are we going to ignore the idea that there need to be some necessary precautions? Especially when victims such as Izumi-san and Chiaki-chan -- [ He bites his tongue; brief. The sounds of their names leaving his mouth in such a manner makes his stomach twist, as he is again reminded of the body he carried. The one he's meant to bury. And the girl who he left only filled with more hatred towards them all. ]
This discussion should've been saved. [ He's noticed that she's been asleep, too, so -- ] Maybe you should take another nap.
no subject
... So that another death happens? Or that another person decides to make a decision for them self? They both need to be incriminated for what was done, [ There are many feelings for this, all leading in death. Which is the issue here - death will solve nothing. It was left open ended to help form a better conversation stand point. Though to redirect away from wanting to kill one another ultimately. ] and the fact that Natsume was possessed is something that is important to think about... As it can be any one of us, and we could be forced to kill next.

...He already has anyway, with Izumi and Chiaki's deaths. What's blood, next. He apologized because he knew he hurt her — everyone — but not because he regrets entirely what he did to the latter. Maybe that's on him; maybe he should have let Chiaki come at him and took his chance with her knife instead. Maybe they'd be a little more willing to forgive if it were regular self-defense, rather than an active attempt at one.
These aren't questions he can answer though, nor are they ones he can get answers for. Not now, and not in the foreseeable future. )
Nanami-chan, I appreciate the atTEMPT, but I'll have to agree with other voices HERE. This is not the time or place for this discusSION. How ever you or others may FEEL... ( ...he rubs his face, closing his eyes. God. ) Moving forward or NOT, tensions are still running HIGH. No one is going to listen to someone preach about how we have to keep moving while people are HURT, so for the sake of everyone here: ( his voice drops low in tone, though not in volume ) ≪Can it.≫
( ..... )
You can reopen it some other TIME, if you're so inCLINED, but there hasn't been enough time for anyone to have a clear head about any of this — yourself included, obviousLY.

[ Despite the mix feelings coming about here, there were still reception and heed of what she said, which was the inevitably the point and importance. When a detective takes heed to solve issues the same way that Saihara had. There is still clean up, there is still counseling, and an extension that no one is alone and that this situation isnt so bleak.
After Saihara came forward, no one focused on the probability of things getting better. Only that, they should point fingers at each other. Here, was the start. Waiting would afford no one anything. ]
... I am not here to, or the others. To preach about what is going on, not when everyone is here trying to preach them self. [ Seeing as Shinobu, Komaeda, Steph, and several others are doing as much... Everyones wills are colliding, its normal. ] Or earnestly want to kill one another. [ Which has been going on... For quite a while now despite the occurrence between Natsume and the others. It is like, those directly involve dont see hows its effecting the people around them... Which is worrisome and even more important for discussing these matters. People are making decisions for themselves, threatening each other, and wanting to kill one another. ] merely justifying everyone's feelings and deciding how to go about it next.
[ She says frankly and calmly, Natsume's exhaustion is understandable - but in the end they did kill. They knew, when speaking on Chiaki. What excatly would concur. It was this - people hating him. Chiaki hating him, Chiaki wanting to kill him. That was why it was important to put a stop to it, before anything escalated. Before they went separate ways, and made their own decisions - the same thing that happened before on Jabberwock Island. Asking her to stop, is rather foolish when there are people confused. Searching for answers, and downtrodden about the situation. Her voice was for them, to talk. Not for those seemingly involved, unfortunately. ]
... A conversation can take place a lot of times - Im sure there will be another time for it too. [ She hopes for it.. Otherwise... ] This is important to make sure everyone knows a line of communication is still open..... Otherwise, if you look around you. Actually look, [ She replies firmly. ] people are uncertain of that being probable anymore.
You and everyone else should rest... Should clear your head out. Rest, and I believe no one here will follow up on those ill omens or threats.
