I did what I could. Eventually, the bills weren't getting paid so everything got shut off. Even the landline, and I couldn't talk to Anego anymore.

Perhaps they have such a job, perhaps they do not. I do not question what plants bloom; I tend to what is here. The same could be said of my students in years past. Both will come and go, in time.

We have an interesting friendship. I dunno if I'd say he's nice to me, but he's not... not nice? I guess? But, [with a wave of his spoon,] I kind prefer that anyway, 'cause I don't really like being treated too different~.

Then it works in my favor, I know what I want to do, and I'll have him do the heavier work... he'll be compensated, I'll allow him to test run it.

( komaeda understands gamers, sort of, not all the way. without warning, he'll wrap his arms around rokkun's waist instead to lay his head there, as if this is supposed to enable him to tell akki to work for him or sumn. that, and he's trying to hear the sound of his heart. )

It certainly is that face she's making, eyes narrowing when she's called out on the expression she wasn't aware she was making, pulling her hand back to herself but it's not the quick snatch back like it could have been.

[ He has to think back to reel in the memory of the past two minutes. Natsume was asking about the flowers, and what it meant for them to wither and fall. ]

The flowers will fall when they are released from the tree. It is not inherently a bad thing: when a soul is to return, it must also let go.

[ She slides the talisman towards her, looking down at it with still a little bit of doubt, because can something like this prevent her from getting stabbed in the gut again? It doesn't look like it. This isn't something she can place her entire trust in, but the point probably isn't to do that anyways. ]

That's likely it. I wanted to ask you, though - are the flowers starting to feel happier now? You mentioned last time they would appreciate care in the daytime, and so I was hoping it would be an improvement.

okay, so it's fall and the plants are getting ready to die ]

I can tell they are being tended to. It certainly makes my job a lot easier, come nightfall, and I may spend more of my time just being around the plants.
