September mini-event pt 2

It's early Friday morning, the silence lifted but still a while before npc students will start coming to school. The door to the student store remains locked, despite always being propped open by a doorstop first thing in the morning, like clockwork. In the pool building, the lights automatically switch on for the day, illuminating the water below.

A large black shape floats in the middle of the pool, air trapped in the fabric wrapped and tangled around it.

Location: The nurses office
Action: Running through the door (if the door is locked she is going to bang on it repeatedly until someone answers...just ruining every students morning) to yell at the nurse that someone is hurt and they need help right now! this is an emergency!

The nurse quickly shushes Sara, gesturing to the little cot in the office, where a certain shopkeep-kun is curled up on their side under the thin blankets, arms wrapped around a plush toy whale

[sisters]

And sitting at their bedside, head resting against his arm and holding the hand not wrapped around Yacchi in his own, is a certain third year.

Wait whats this incredibly attractive guy doing here.

Mhm...only one thing to do. Gotta poke him.

[sisters]

He kind of scrunches up his face, shifting his position a little the way you do when you're kind of half-waking up, but you don't want to yet.

[samuraiwomen]

Hot guys really do exist in this school, wow. Look at him moving his face like that.

She'll keep poking him.

[sisters]

Give it a few more pokes. With enough of them, she'll manage it — Amami blinking his eyes open blearily as his attention lifts to the girl who's poking him and then, with a start, he looks back to Shopkeep-kun on the bed. Upon seeing their sleeping face, he breathes a sigh of relief. His bandaged hand seems to squeeze tighter around theirs but, after a moment, he guesses he can spare some of his attention to her.

So he looks at her like ?

[ Nice eye color...but huh, bandages? Anyway. ]

Hey. They found someone dying on the fourth floor. This room is probably going to get pretty busy soon.

[ She's warning you two before your morning gets ruined with a bunch of screaming arguing transfer students and someone who is dying. ]

Are they okay? [ Npc-kun has a house, right? They don't just sleep at school... ]

[sisters]

Dying...

( a moment passes, and his eyes widen. but then sara's continued on so he just kind of grimaces like he's biting his tongue, sighs again instead. )

They're... Yeah. I mean, they should be, so...

( his brows are furrowed, expression troubled, because sometimes... )

[ It's kind of a weird reaction to being told someone is dying, and Amami looks like he wants to say something...but Sara doesn't press it. He just woke up, and he's looking after a kid. Of course he's got things on his mind. It would be weird to get paranoid now. ]

Mhm. I'm going to get help them move the...body? Here. If you want to leave before that, I understand.

[ She follows his gaze down to npc-kun. ]

They're a good kid...its good to see they have a lot of people looking out for them.

[sisters]

They are.

( because that's the most important thing here. that they're a good kid, and they're definitely going to be okay, and thinking on the subject for longer than a few moments absolutely doesn't make him look like he's just been stabbed in the gut or something. anyway! he's given his acknowledgement so, yeah, now his gaze is going to return to kamo-kun's peacefully resting face. )

( looks at ori for how many beds there are in this nurse's office because this one's not being given up, sorry. )

oh. this is where they'd been this morning...!!!! f to cultist-kun though he's gonna watch those proceedings too

( oh, yeah, don't worry he's not minding subaru. he's kind of eyeing narumi-kun, mostly, and he might rest his head back on his arm again. tired... )

[bro idk where to tag in BUT guess who's tapping down the hall, looking for Liz in all the wrong places...coming into the nurse's office if it's not too loud.]

( amami might not be talking to her, but she may just walk in in time to catch the tail end of something he's saying to komaeda, with those sharp ears of hers. )

[guess who's eavesdropping. yeah. we're going to handle the ethics on that later.

it helps that if she doubles back and hides around the corner of the door, she can still hear everything.

Still um, there is actually someone dying? Does she have anything for people who are pale and sweaty and not breathing well? ...Also is shopkeep-kun ok?

She says shopkeep-kun and Amami are just sleeping, they're okay, and will go up with Sara if that's what we're doing instead of bringing the other body down. Unsure of what's wrong, she'll bring her kit that includes epipens and inhalers and those sorts of emergency meds that do nothing for missing souls

i-its not like she knows souls are missing! shin is at terrible texter, and thats not her fault!

its nice to hear at least some people are okay though.

we can just all meet eachother halfway and bring cult-kun to the bed...kicking npc-kun out... :(
