It's located in the central part of the city and is within a walking distance of the city's key infrastructure.

[hehehe. subaru rubs the side of his phone idly, wondering if he should pause because it's not really part of the interview, but he's edited videos before it'll be fine!!!]

Where do I start... I guessed Rocchan lived around, or in a forest, and I hit the nail on the head, but he didn't really seem to like that. But it's 'cause he talked about bears and how the whole school's just like, forest for miles, and he has a river on his way home, and it sorta just mixed together and I was like oh! he lives in a forest! And then when I was helping Keigo sell some rocks I thought about how they belonged to their brother, at least I think the droves of normal ones probably do too? Or maybe it's just the really, reaaally pretty sparkly ones... And you mentioned that they lived in the forest once, that there were bears and a river and cliffs and such there, and I know we're all dead here so that means Rocchan's dead too, but he's been here since middle school -- oh, he's been doing soccer since then too, I really wanna see him play! -- but that doesn't really matter,

Neither of 'em are good with living things, [which isn't unusual just the mention of it and how they mention it,] and Keigo told me that both their siblings were like, pretty artsy... And sang really well, though their big sister liked singing more than their brother... Rocchan's super good at art, and there's the other thing about Saransk, and...

It's probably just coincidence, but it'd be nice if that were true. Keigo really, really loves their siblings, after all, I think it'd be nice if they could meet them and show off just how grown-up and reliable they've become.

( that is a lot to come to, a lot of overlapping which makes things ever more curious, and komaeda smiles as if he's heard it all before — not bothered, but he continues to walk as he thinks it over. everything being told he's heard it all before, and there's some things that are missing, but nothing subaru really needs to understand the aratas. )

( and komaeda doesn't really listen to subaru, rather, he ignores him halfway or leaves him not because he hates the conversation, it's just that he's used to people either ignoring and hating him, who wants to keep speaking to trash like himself? but he feels entitled to the aratas enough, and he looks at subaru with a small smile.

( he's always so determined, but that's not all, that determination is also messy, it's desperate, he doesn't know what to do once he gets going. as komaeda thinks about it, he's always been like that, but he wonders if npckun is just as messy as well, but they seem more composed to komaeda — perhaps they know when to cry, and how their emotions can be, hm, the arata family is sensitive. part of him wonders how did he even get involved. )

Yeah... They've always looked up to him, even when they wanted me to take his place, I couldn't. I understand the type of person he is... and I couldn't take that from him. Understand that you have to remind them that can't give away that special person to anyone.

( because npckun missed him, wanted him back, and that's been rokkun's goal from the start to be reunited with his younger sibling. that's why he wanted to graduate, and now knowing that npckun is here, his entire goal has changed, and komaeda supports it despite how messy it sounds. he trusts him, and that's why komaeda smiles softly, and he looks at subaru with the same one, not switching from it. )

This is Arata Rokuro-kun's year... ( he pauses, thoughtful. ) As long as they can make the most of it, then that should be more than enough.

one that subaru can help with simply by continuing to be himself, essentially, making friends and being happy and so on and so forth. living a normal student's life. maya had been the same way with her contract, and he wonders keigo feels like their moment of weakness, of asking subaru for help, is something worth regretting. all they'd asked for at first was subaru's trust and his arms, after all.]
