As the game progresses, different npc faculty and students will become available for threading. that said, peeking into star four has... people or no people, what do they even do at midnight? probably sleep, no one can talk, but he'll find that the top bunk is not occupied, and it's been made so he hasn't touched it since he got up that morning before after checking the dorm room, he can trot to the study area, or even the kitchen, komaeda has not left anything familiar in any of these places —

no he won't doublecheck, if he hadn't noticed komaeda writhing in pain or laughter or what have you in his lookabouts the rooms then he's not there, so subaru'll trek back out into the courtyard and take a loop around the wisteria as he passes just to make sure the other isn't there before he intends to head into the school.]

looking around the wisteria are footsteps that's common in that general spot, lots of students pass it by, but considering he's now inside of the school — he has many choices to make.

all the while, komaeda's too busy holding his head, fingers curling in white locks, and he's yanking, not a constant back and forth, but one tug, and a constant pull. he'll get up from where he's located, on shaky legs that hardly want to support his migraine. unfortunately, he finds himself falling back down because his knees want to give out that bad. )

anyway he wasn't right the first time for the library, but it's still the closest so he'll go and swing around there, check down the aisles to see if komaeda's around, but after that he'll actually check the bathrooms since that Was where he was before you just. never know]

down the aisles, subaru will see books are neatly in place, one by one aside from a hard copy of the galactic railroad is left on a nearby table, partway open, but maybe someone just left it behind. is that a clue? or a red herring?

that book was out of place, huh... he rounds back just to reread it, working at his midnight addled mind before he sets off, tentatively, to the roof. he really hopes komaeda's okay, because he doesn't know how long someone can "not breathe" or some typo'd version of it, but if this is some kind of prank the other'll have a genuine worry to harbor.
