But I've learned not everybody has lots of money, so in the spirit of the holiday, I'll take whatever you've got. But never mind that—-

[ Let's not talk prices right now, commission details come first so they can ballpark a quote and bump it up a bit and then apply the 5% discount and still come out on top. ]

It's early enough in the month that I don't have lots going on, so I could finish something in a couple days if it's something real time sensitive— cost will be higher for the short deadline, though. But mostly it depends on what you're interested in! Buying things is easier. Making thins is more fun.

I need a journal that has a lock and a key! It has to be cute, too so it can put a smile on their face. Nipah~☆

[Well, that's the main thing that she needs, anyway.]

Do you think it can come with a nice design that is... [She pauses, trying to recall what was on the list-] "spooky cute"?

[ There's scary and there's cute but they're not so sure about the two of them together. ...maybe Subaru will know. ]

I can get that journal, though! A plain one will be super easy to get my hands on, and "spooky cute"... once I figure out what that means, I can make it into a bookcover to go over it.

... Maybe? I'm not sure, that's just what it said on the paper.

Sure, that'll be easy to add. But you know, if anybody wants to read what's inside, it'll be super easy to break into. It's just a book...

[ No secrets are safe against a pair of scissors. Maybe it's the principle of the matter, but they would never write their secrets down even under lock and key. ]

[ This is where they'd giver her the same spiel as they did Ishimaru with all that goes into commission costs, but unlike him, she doesn't look like she'd have the money anyways. ]

...How come nobody here has money? I thought everybody who lived in towns and cities and stuff would be super rich.

Mii... even I know a normal journal is cheaper than that. And I'm not from a town or a city, sir. I'm from a small village. I don't even get a big allowance.

[Which isn't a lie, as she sags her shoulders, sighing heavily.]

I know how to cook, clean, and sew, sir. I'm also very good at playing games, too.

[ npckun gives her a bit of a blank stare, the shameless not understanding why being rude should stop anybody— certainly never stopped them ]

What sort of games? Do you know how to play dots and boxes? Hopscotch? Marbles?

[If he's not going to ask, she's not going to answer the reason why, instead just smiling.]

Mii. I play all sorts of games... but mostly competitive ones. I don't know how to play that first one, but I can learn fast. The other two... I know how to play ohajiki, if that's what you mean by 'marbles'.

Ohajiki? How do you play?

[ Like marbles... they'll have to buy a bag of actual marbles, if the tumbled stones they have aren't round enough and probably they aren't. ]

Mm. It's a game that can be played with pebbles or go stones, or anything that is coin-shaped. You gather up all of the pieces on the floor and make a line between one piece to the other by pointing it out. If you can hit the other piece with your fingers, you get to keep it. If you don't, it just goes to the other player's turn.

You keep going until there's no more pieces. The one who has collected the most wins.

Oh! I've got lots of pebbles you can buy, and then we can play! You can show me how to do it first! I'm a quick learner!

[ please buy something though, please, they need the money ]

Why are you selling pebbles, sir.

Because people are stupid enough to buy them. Have you seen the gacha machine outside the door?

That's alright! I sell go stones too! Only one person's ever bought them, but he's very smart.
