[ his entry into moon four is always filled with surprises, the kind that dito should be wary when nothing ever goes right inside this room. for midori, he finds that he always has something up his sleeve, but this time, it's just what he has in his hands. it's a normal sized carry on bag that rolls against the floor as he whistles through the hall, enthusiastic in his in what's to come as he thinks about the future. everything has to be planned perfectly, there can be no mistakes, and even this isn't a gamble at all as long as everyone's happy.
there's a wide smile on his face as he bounces from side to side in his steps, and once he stands in front of moon four, the doctor pulls out his keys from out his scarf to unlock the door, and into the somewhat pink room he brings himself into. a deep breath as there's a few lit candles, and air purifiers to remove the stench that dito normally brings in, but he's been good recently. ]
I have a gift for you.
[ he pulls the carry-on bag to his side as he kicks the door shut behind him, and his rattail wags from left to right like an excited dog himself, until it stops, and droops back down behind like normal strands of hair. ]
[ Wave, wave. It took...far to long for Sara to manage to track Komeada down, but now that she has, she's! not! letting! him! go! It takes some out of breath jogging, but she's caught him in a hall finally. ]
There you are. [ She leans over, looping one arm through his. ] We're getting lunch, Komeada-san!
[ It's long after classes have , but of course in a shift of misfortune, Sara had to crash into Midori as she was heading back into her room, dropping a few papers at her feet.
She...really doesn't want to bend over and grab them while Midori was here, so instead she leans back on her heels and crosses her arms. Paper, what paper? ]
[you know, just in case. it's just a smaller cupcake though because he knows yori-chan's the one sara meant and it's being thrown from a distance with his jock arms]
( it was a mistake at the start, but accidentally ripping his jacket has posed some problems like it constantly hooking on things that he passes, and the cold breeze seeping through the hole. sometimes when he moves through the crawlspace, dust and debris builds up in the hole, and he has to push it out onto the ground which is sort of gross.
that's why he's in the sewing room now, looking around for any fabric that matches his green attire around the sleeve, and he also needs to sew that one hole in his pocket...
he remembers when he dropped the bomb once, anyway he's digging in a drawer while tossing items behind him onto the floor. maroon doesn't work, glaucous, celadori, and even burlywood doesn't fit the color scheme, and all those are on the floor now...
( evidence brought forth, connections made, and the conclusion is that dito, add and komaeda had all did something fairly stupid. stupid enough that lives were lost, idiotic enough one is pushed into coma, and simple enough that even dito found his way to enjoy the aftermath.
no one can apologize for their mistakes, and the world must feel... emptier.
that's until noah hears tapping of shoes coming behind him, and the jingle of a chain in his direction, and before he can even look to see... a voice comes first. )
Ebalon-kun! ( it comes out happily with a hand raised, arm shifting from side to side to greet the individual. ) I've been looking for you everywhere!
( how can that be when he's bedridden? or maybe that's the part which is a figment of noah's imagination because the mirrors have been odd this time of month, and komaeda has never gotten his way when it comes to dying or even close. is it really komaeda if he's down for the count...? )
( amami has gone back to his roots. it is the early afternoon, and he should definitely be in class, and he is not in class, and instead he is in the nurse's office. peeking in a little cautiously at first, as if checking to see if anyone's in, but when he sees midori off to the side trying to separate the shell from the chocolate of his m&m's, it's hard to guess if he's disappointed or relieved.
he'll step the rest of the way inside, at least. )
Hey, Hiyori-san. You look busy.
( is it the shells or the chocolate he likes better? )
[ Yumemi is a child prodigy. It's laughable that she failed her computer science final, really, given that she's the type of student who gets perfect marks on everything. There's times when she's childish and impulsive, and there's times when she's calm and composed, and who can really tell which one is an honest representation? But without a doubt, Yogen High holds nothing for her in terms of academics, while for the rest of her life she blames it on card readings.
But she likes the people here, and she likes Hiyori. She visits him sometimes, and he's nice enough to her that she continues to visit him (and picks arguments with anyone who so much as implies something negative about him.)
Today is not one of those days. She hasn't gone home in a long time, and she doesn't plan on it. She's not really sure why, there's just the distinct sense that she doesn't need to - like it doesn't matter whether or not she's there.
So she's milling aorund in the common room instead, redoing her card reading over and over despite doing so being sacrilegious. It comes up the same every time. ]
... Hiyori-san.
[ She stops when she sees him, scooping the cards up and tucking the deck away. ]
[ Her fortune was good today! Good things are going to happen! She'll persevere over triumph, and experience growth, and who knows what else might happen... Either way, it'll be a wonderful, fantastical, excellent day!
Her fortunes are always correct too, and so she's made record profits today~ ♪ Well, record profits for her, she doesn't know what anyone else made.
As someone who's sensitive to such things, Komaeda might understand that there's only good things to be found in this space now! It's a similar sensation tot he library and the science lab, but subtly different - as though only good things can happen in this space.
Her fortunes are serious!
Anyway, she's going to look up from the book she was flipping through to him as he enters. She had been leaning back in it, so there's a loud thump as the legs hit the floor and another as she slams the book down, looking straight at him. ]
Oh... Komaeda-san! You're back!?
[ She's dropping her hands down on the desk in the back, the chair squeaking back as she lifts herself up, still leaning over it, looking at him as though this were the most serious event that's happened in her entire life.
Rumors of his death may or may not have been greatly exaggerated. ]
