[That sketchbook has a bunch of stuff in it from the sleepover, drawn in between the time after Komaeda flopped on Noah through the blanket fort and before Noah would inevitably wind up swapping spit with Kokichi. But, uh, yeah, cats, he definitely drew cats. He pulls the sketchbook out and willingly hands it over. The first page is absolutely decorated with cartoonish black cats in various poses — playing, sitting, you name it.]

Yeah, I did. [Beat.] What do you need...?

( did he draw fanart of him and ouma kissing, because i swear komaeda will want to see that in the book. like, if he looks at the cats and then proceeds to flip a few more pages... let's hope he didn't, because i'm crying at the mental image of seeing that. )

You should draw Bev ( yes, he named the black cat, don't ask him. ) and Lily May. They might like that...

( he heard about the cat fight awhile back, and maybe that'll appease the cat gods, because of the unrest that was going on there. )

I should get to the point, do you have plans with your PDA?

[NO he didn't do that because tbh what if Clamor finds out that happened, Noah's going to be grounded for the rest of his life.]

( you know, the conversation is going nicely until noah asks him his reasons, and komaeda can only stare, almost like he's trying to think of how to explain it. after a moment of hesitation, he looks at the other in their deadpan expression, and the moment komaeda puts his hand on the pda — )

I wouldn't break anything of yours, Ebalon-kun! Besides, after that exchange of affection you did at the party, I don't think you're fragile at all!

( he's an ultimate, one of the greats, a symbol of hope — if there's anyone noah should give his body and soul to, ouma is a choice. i'm not going to say best choice, but komaeda would.

[Noah is screaming internally and he still has his hand raised like he's still offering the PDA to boot. Eventually, though, that hand that was previously holding the PDA out moves to somewhat cover Noah's burning cheeks. The implications, Komaeda, come on, he's not doing that!]

( he pauses, thinking back to when he saw the two on top of one another in a love's embrace — it probably wasn't that descriptive, but seeing anyone against an ultimate like that... of course people would see things a certain way. komaeda's no different especially with how much he values someone like ouma for his status. )
