dorm fundraiser log
Just for the weekend, the classrooms 3-A and 3-B have been transformed into a host club and a maid cafe, respectively. The students are free to come and go as they please, as well as bring their parents, siblings and whoever else to come help raise funds for the dorms. The promotional poster hangs on the wall between the classrooms, its' artist unknown and left uncredited.
CLASSROOM 3-A
Aka the temporary home of a maid cafe. Decorated mostly in golds and blues, just for today, the students can indulge the illusion of being a Master and having some semblance of control in their lives.
The cafe serves coffee, tea, placebo love potions that taste like strawberry soda, omurice donated by the cooking club with an option to request a message written in ketchup, and a variety of sweets, including baked goods prepared by the transfer students. Some of our cute maids include Kaede, Nene, Natsume, Noah, and, for a very brief time, Rika — though she quickly leaves to tend to the love spell booth. A little far off from that happens to be the kissing booth, ran by Subaru and Komaeda, as well as the charm-selling booth ran by Natsume. Any treats the students offered up for sale will be displayed on a makeshift menu written down on the chalkboard, with slightly-exaggerated prices, because this is a fundraiser and we can't have people skimp out.
CLASSROOM 3-B
Next up, the host club, with Lucifer, Sara, Hinata, Komaeda, Hajun, Gundham and Subaru working in shifts to appease the picky tastes of any students who feel like becoming a refined Ojou-sama.
Just like the Maid cafe, the Host club offers a variety of foods donated by the students, with an additional option to order an alcohol-less champagne, which is really just bubbly soda served in a champagne glass. But, you know, for the realism... A bit further into the classroom, you'll find Gundham's cartomancy booth, as well as Shuichi's lost & found booth. You're free to request as many hosts as you want for the occasion, and make them drink as much of the bubbly soda as you wish, all for a price, of course — and if someone's stomach starts to hurt, well... that's why they take turns!

The festivities take part long before you enter either classroom, however...
Outside, you can find little Turing, who's all dressed up and eager to help and provide information about the boths, as well as our lovely Elizabeth, who, on top of making snow cones with her very fearsome persona, is offering quick-and-easy introductions for each maid and host, to make your choice that much simpler! Simply name whoever you're interested in, and you'll get to hear a witty line about them:

[To anyone who thought I was kidding when I said in discord that Noah would be wearing a maid dress, I was not, and yes the boob window is part of the getup and as everyone in the school is about to find out, Noah is a lot more muscular than he looks under all that goth. Gender is fake. Anyway.
Someone crammed him into this outfit and while he's not exactly thrilled he's not exactly dying about it, and after a short while Noah kind of gets into the groove of a) the fact that he's wearing a very fluffy dress with like, actual layers under it and b) acting like he's good at this job. Fake it 'til you make it, they say. For all his shyness and for the way Elizabeth's introduction makes him freeze up because he's definitely not any of those things she named, he's trying his best.
Trying his best eventually culminates into not only flirting ("flirting" — this is Noah we're talking about here, and he gets flustered pretty easily) but doing sleight of hand tricks, something Noah is fairly deft at considering his background. Where did that card go? Behind your ear? When he retrieves it, he'll wink at you and maybe drag his hand along your cheek a little too long before tossing it into the air and — oops, the card's gone. Did you miss it in your distraction, or did you see it get snatched up by one of the shadows on the ceiling enabling Noah's tricks?
If you ask nicely enough, he'll feed you snacks, but don't expect him to not get flustered about it. It's a good act coming from the kid who can't actually talk to people, but sometimes things fall through the cracks. No matter who visits, he's giving flirting an attempt... He really wants those fucking dorms, y'all. Please try not to point out the fact that he's been blushing profusely the entire time he's been working. Or do. He can't stop you right now.]
☽ Knife Crimes
[Perhaps you swing by after Noah has figured out that he can steal the kitchen knives and hide them in the 238947 layers making up this dress, and with a little finagling (aka hidden shadow magic strapping all the knives down), he's managed to make it so that they don't fall out of the outfit when he moves.
There are two reasons he's doing this. One, some cheeky student at some point dared him to juggle knives for his sleight of hand tricks, and so Noah can be seen occasionally doing that and praying he doesn't lose a finger. Two, and this is the more fun reason: There's a line of people betting on just how many knives he's hidden in this skirt of his, and it's kind of started a whole betting ring. The prize for guessing correctly is left up to the winner — be it free snacks, a kiss, a date in the courtyard since that's the furthest he can go out... The only rule is it can't be anything violent or illegal, which is real rich coming from the kid who's juggling knives to bring in money.
But, hey, it's working. At this point they might as well have put on a cirque instead of a maid café. Boys will be boys, certainly.
Line up, place your bets, or watch the kid nearly lose a finger every couple minutes. Or maybe ask him for the knives back, because he's stolen like, all of them, Godspeed to the kitchen staff.]

Noah. The knives.

Nanami's puffed-up cheeks admittedly catch him off-guard, as does the rampant big sister energy, and he quite nearly fumbles his juggling. In his alarm, one of the knives goes plunging point-first into the table he's standing at. No one is injured, but a shocked ripple of alarm tears through Noah's little audience as he deftly manages to catch the other two knives in one hand.]
...Can this wait? [He whispers,] I'm using them.
[Yes, Noah, all thirty-three of them. Two in his hand, one stuck in the table, and the other thirty hidden away in his skirt for betting purposes.]
