AnyWAY, I've had a habit of making them due to HIM, though here I sell them when I do fortune telling to people who think they need a little HELP. I just happened to have some on me when I came to visit YOU.

Nao sits up a little straighter across from Natsume and the ball, not exactly she what her participation needs to be but the least she can do is be quietly polite, hands folded on the desk— ...hands folded on her lap, after a glance at Natsume's, for how much she had gotten on Kokichi's case that first day when he'd gone ahead and showed her the tallies on his wrist.

She mentally shakes that out of her head and focuses on the ball, trying to see anything inside. Darkness, maybe, because that's really all she remembers from the previous year: a black cloak, and a quiet voice. ]

( "how do crystal balls work" is me i don't know, you look at them and you interpret from the lights and shadows in them. in my witch movies there's some weird fog and then whatever they're scrying just shows up. my knowledge of how crystal balls work is all from the hit classic the wizard of oz (1939) when the wicked witch of the west uses it to spy on dorothy and co. there's a reason i only offer card readings whenever i do fortune stuff send help we're blind leading the blind
