The meaning behind those old rules were clear, considering who I was. It would likely do you good as well, to think on the reasoning behind the rules and whether you agree, before deciding whether to break or follow.

( balancing himself is easier than expected, and he motions himself back to where rokkun's legs dangle, and he parts his legs on the side of them so that he can look down at him, he's already up on his elbows. the wind blows at his locks of hair, the tip of the one bang tickles against his nose, making it twitch for a moment — his eyes close, trying to get over the sensation. )

[ They don't want to... but they let go, of both their hands, standing at the edge of the sand and watching Komaeda see something they're not, at Amami trying to reel him back.

They crouch down, hugging their knees, trying not to get sand into their shoes because then their little store will be gritty forever, staring... staring...

What... are they supposed to do, when faced with a stretch of sand. This isn't the play they know how to do. ]

He was saying... "sorry"... for not saving me. I don't know from what.

[ Sidney can't hear her but Clamor can, so she looks to him to help her make sense of this man she's seen around but never really met. ]

[ There's the littlest bit of disappointment when she hears he isn't dead, but it's okay. He will be, eventually. ]

[ ... She goes over to a window and peers outside, as if trying to see if Kazuki is out there. ]

I don't know any other mean ghosts, though... It's been just me for a long long time. [ oh. she whips around from the window and beams up at Natsume, because that's not true anymore. ]

But then I met Clamor! And Nene! And you! And getting to play with everybody makes me really happy!

[ Ooh, embarrassing. Makes them want to stop smiling, but at the same time they can't help it, thinking of a nighttime picnic on the rooftop with somebody who probably wouldn't shove them off. ...He can't, if they're holding hands. Probably.

But the alternative is staying in their little shop, surrounded by so many things to make up for the empty space between them, so they're going to be brave!! Okay, okay, human interaction, let's go. ]

( it's at npc-kun's question that komaeda thinks, wondering if there's an actual answer to it. he thinks back to jabberwock, the night sky above the island, the people he was with that played around with one another, and that one person that would sit with him on the side when komaeda cast himself away. how they'd sit by the ocean with the stars sparkling off the surface, how the reflection would also pick up their appearances... when komaeda would glance to the water, and see those... shimmering green eyes — the way i learned hinata's eyes are green when they look slick brown, anyway. )

[ "Better things to do" is relieving, to say the least, because if Lucifer doesn't deem the monster a threat— or it is but nothing they can't deal with— then it can't be all that bad. With a little whew!, Hikaru goes to lean against a desk, half sitting and half standing because it's kind of weird having a conversation sitting down unless there's cards or something on the desk. ]

"The top" as in when I first got to school? I went to class... I don't think I did too well on the math quiz. My friends and I were talking about it after school and we all had put down different answers.

[ Math is hard. They had a pork cutlet sandwich for lunch. They won two out of six games of Go Fish they'd played with friends after class. How much detail does Natsume want about things. ]
