( well that's a bust in seeing if these mushrooms could be good currency. his tongue brushes against the back of his teeth, contemplating yanking one out to place in instead — another set of currency lily may can't eat (hopefully).

[ The mushrooms are great currency... for attracting hungry cats. Also I scritched Lily's nose and kissed her on the head and she looked up at me and yawned in my face with her kibble breath, this what happens to Komaeda too ]

( her mushroom breath... and he wishes this wasn't happening, but komaeda taps her nose softly. please give lily another kiss from ME.

he's going to put the beads into the floorboard because at least she didn't eat those, and he's wondering if he should leave a note. )

[ The cat swishes her tail in irate disagreement. No, he should leave food in here, so she can come and eat said food. ]

( he can tell she disagreed from the tail swish, and he's going to disagree with her disagree. )

[ She sits up all nice and proper and meows at him. To be interpreted however he would, whether she's a willing accomplice, wishes Komaeda to make friends, or just recognizes the word salmon. ]

Hm... So you think I should cut down the wisteria tree? I don't know if I can get away with it, so many people are... attached.

( guess you can call those the dead people. )

[ She flops over onto her side and bats at his shoes. ]

Oh, have you ever wanted to break the glass to tamper with the clock in its tower...

[ She meows again, as if anybody ever has to ask if a cat would like to break things and cause trouble, but maybe she's not so interested in the clock because she stands and arcs her back in a Kaneko stretch and meows. ]

( she just doesn't want him doing anything chaotic, is that what this is... he'll sigh, uts a shame she ate up all the mushrooms... what if his friend was hungry, or maybe they would have been allergic to it?

I'll figure out something else to leave then...

( besides, how else will they get their mystery person to speak to him? okay, he's going to pick up lily may because he's going to take her to the home ec room to see if they have any fish. )
