Kazuki arrives at night, and leaves at dawn, so that means something happened in the space between that second group arriving with the cleaning solution and the herbs, and the smell of burning flesh before the sun rose. From what Subaru had recounted, there was chalk and candle stubs in the pool building, too... They hadn't been doing a ritual, had they?
...They do have an (unofficial) occult club; he's banned from joining it for murderer reasons, or he had been when it was being talked about by Clamor and Lucifer. Natsume blinks after a few moments, aware he's been quiet for some time, and pushes himself to standing. )

People who ingest what's grown down here over a prolonged period of time begin to suffer symptoms of iron poisonING. It's unusual for plants to cause that type of thing—generally speakING, it's found more commonly in people who exceed the recommended dosage of iron supplements in some way—so I'd like to find out how and WHY.

[ Not when there's no act yet, and maybe not even then. With the seeds he'd given Nene on their first meeting, he is very familiar with the phrase and how the plants are something that can help just as much as hurt.
What's a small dose of iron poisoning supposed to help, though, unless somebody is anemic or something ]
