Yeah, but they're not on display since it's getting too late into the season for them. I'm not going in the water, though. I don't know how to swim.

[ They will go to the pool and sit on one of those beach chairs and that's it, maybe ]

That doesn't mean you can't go in.

[ Maybe they're going to bring plenty of floaties and also a length of rope so they can very literally tie a lifeline from Amami to themselves, just in case something happens. ]

Teach me the theory first before we go, so I'll what to expect. The best way to not drown, and how you're supposed to breathe with water everywhere, and how to see what's going on when the water burns your eyes and is full of bacteria and it's really gross actually.

[ This is a matter of life and death, there's no "fun" about learning a survival skill like swimming. They're still nervous about it, though, having always been told to stay away from the river back home and not having anything to compare to when it comes to any large body of water. ]

But okay. I'm trusting you. If you let me swallow pool water, I'm going to be mad at you.

Haha, if you say so. I'll do my best not to let it happen.

( it's harmless? kinda gross, yeah, maybe, but still harmless. anyway, he'll make to stand up for now, giving a little stretch. )

Oh, I already know what I'm going to do, so I just need to get the materials to do it. It's just wire and leather.

[ I'm going to keep forgetting so I'll put this here, it's basically wire wrapped around the quartz in the shape of a tree to keep it secure, and then attached to one of these things that I don't know what it's called but I googled "belt loop key holder clip thing" ]

( noooo it's cute... strap it to one of his belt loops, yes... he'll wear it everywhere always. for now, he'll tilt his head a little. )

You don't need to go pick anything up?

( guess they should have some wire leftover from liz's gift, maybe. he's not too sure about the leather — but he doesn't want them to head out after dark or anything either. )

Nope! I can't afford to buy specific things for specific projects individually, so buying things in bulk saves a lot of time and money! It's economical!

[ Supposedly they do go out and buy things, to take back to their store-turned-workshop to play with and see what they can create. ]

Smart. That's good business sense.

( he wasn't sure how many commissions they were getting, but if they're getting enough, and being used for other things — that's perfect. )
