he's heavy when he does that, it almost feels like he can't breathe, or maybe he just didn't expect rokkun to come this close. it's the closed gap of their lips that surprises komaeda at first, and his eyes no longer turn away and instead shift to meet the other's own. it's not like at the beginning of the year where komaeda fed him through the means of a kiss, but there was nothing behind it. he feels the need to pull away out of embarrassment actually.
his fingers tighten in the fabric of the other's shirt instead, breath hitches, and his thoughts try to compile together a reason. it won't sit right with him if someone who lacks talent takes advantage, and so komaeda leans up a little more to extend the length of the kiss — he thinks that maybe the drugs are getting to rokkun, but that doesn't stop him from parting his mouth to sweep his tongue along the width of his bottom lip for a better taste of what may be a mix of bitter medicine and caffeine. )

The fact that Komaeda doesn't pull away, though, the fact that he can feel that hand on his shirt and breath on his lips, has him sliding his eyes closed, hands wandering to brush the hangs off Komaeda's face and thread his fingers in the hair at the side of his face like he can physically keep him here, like this, tasting of painkillers and coffee and the faintest bite of mint toothpaste. There is nothing sweet about the kiss. It's insistent but at the same time restrained, and he's first to pull away and instead presses a kiss to Komaeda's jaw, on the side of his neck, so he can give without needing to be reciprocated. ]

unlike his friend, komaeda doesn't close his eyes, instead he perceives every action the other takes within the room, and whatever light he has to guide him. the only reason rokkun can do this is because he's being allowed, though it seems komaeda's careless reciprocation only encouraged him. the feeling of his lips brushing against his neck sends a shiver down his spine, an unfamiliar action that if he doesn't think too much about, but it tickles so he shivers a bit (while thinking of england, yama said this is what he has to do). maybe komaeda's too detached from the carnal human desires, or maybe he just can't get over how heavy rokkun is... it's probably why he feels himself slightly warm considering how close they are, and komaeda's colder than him.
he's going to reach for the hand that's not in his hair (it's actually very soft, he got hinata to brush it), so he can instead push the knife onto the floor... let it hit something and slide under the bed, so he can assist in a different way. he's going to wrap his arms around the other's neck instead, his fingers lightly tracing at the nape of it to grab his attention, and then he's going to try and turn him so that he can get the third year on his side in the cot... is he going to misinterpret this, i sat here with this sentence like this dumbass gunna leave a hickey or bite him or sumn, and that's gunna be the reason why they're playing hide and seek in the other tag. )
