komaeda closes his eyes, returning to the darkness just so he can open them again to see if hikaru's one, which they're not, and it's a surprise to him. his vision feels lightly blurry when there's a sea or red wrapped around him, but he'll take a deep breath and just lay there. )

( he parts his mouth open to speak, it's like he forgot his words for a moment, and he closes his mouth again trying to register the situation. why is he here, and he even looks up at the wisteria petals... which one is his dead friends... okay, maybe he can say something worth while. )

[ They set the food aside and turn to face Komaeda, ready to help him sit up or stare blankly at him if he decides to keep laying down. ]
How are you feeling? I turned around and you were on the ground.

It's no problem! Really, it's not. It's not quite camping out in the forest, but we have a tree here and a picnic [ sort of, it's partially eaten, but sort of ] and the shade feels nice, doesn't it?

( because they'd take up pieces of the deceased, and that happens to be their so called "peaceful" expression when asleep. now he doesn't know if that's how it works for hikaru, but considering they're part of the cult, and should know about this already makes komaeda wonder. )
It's perfect, though.

[ It's with a concerned look on their face that they look back up at the canopy of flowers above them, and no matter what, all they can feel while sitting below is peace. That despite the number of people who have come and gone in their life, the thought of them still being here, watching over them, is nothing short of comforting. ]
...I like it here. It makes me feel as if I'm not alone.

( spices things up even though it's pushing it, even though it's the people that's died above them, and one of them are saihara, and komaeda frowns slightly. one of them are also rika, and his mouth twitches a bit, and then he wonders who will put up with him now. not that people don't put up with him, but it was a little different... those types of people are rare — reckless where others aren't, a third option when people see one or the other. )

It's like when you find a spider in your house and are kind of creeped out by it, but you take a sheet of paper and move it outside instead. He lives in the forest, doesn't he? I bet he'll be happier there.

I've always seen him here, taking care of this tree... he might not move much, I think he's trapped here... should we set him free?

Hm... I'm not sure, he really likes this tree, and he normally has a mask, but it's gone now... I wasn't there to watch Amami-kun's Amamazing Amaventures when he went toe to toe with the gardener himself!
