Chamomile can be used for breaking hexes, just like nutmeg! We used a lot of that when Lucifer-senpai taught us—- uh. [ Imp banishment. But anyways, ]

The trio is also good for awakening your third EYE, that which can allow you to attune to the supernatural easiER. ( to become aware. ) Lavender is good for warding off evil spirits and is often used in rites of purificaTION, and peppermint... or more accurateLY, mint in general is a favorite among those casting spells and rituals to keep out anything wickED.

Hmm... That sounds a lot more advanced than the stuff we're learning together, but maybe some of the third years who know more than I do? If they're learning things on their own...

Hikaru doesn't really know what to think about this being a waste of time, because they were really hoping to be helpful— they'd even answered Natsume's rock question well. But they shake their head at the apology, glad enough to accept it. ]

I know, and I know it was completely ludicrous to try and promise such a thing as WELL... I've made plenty of impossible promises this year, actualLY.
( saying he'll talk to people before he acts, promising not to lie to certain people, no murders, preventing incidents, returning soul fragments, swearing he'll rely on others when he needs to... )
But magicians are capable of many impossible THINGS. ( A little smile. ) And plenty of STRANGE, seemingly impossible things have happened HERE, so I'll let myself be a little hopeful that I can do someTHING.
