Please let August be better than July I'm begging

✽ Due to 10+ classes raising their ranks last month, ALL characters have access to the courtyard via the door in the locker area and the windows facing the courtyard.
✽ Characters with 1-10 tallies are not able to get any further past the end of the courtyard before they fall unconscious; characters with 10-20 can get halfway to the pool building before the same happens to them; characters with 20+ tallies can reach the pool building but unfortunately, the door is on the other side. There are no windows on the walls, but from the clocktower, characters can see that it has a glass ceiling, though they are unable to see inside.
✽ Outside, there is no breeze, and it occasionally rains ash.
✽ Characters going up to the 4th floor will feel that the door is warm to the touch, and will occasionally open (see: missions)
✽ The student store opens, with the door propped open with a doorstopper. The npc running the store is currently not interested in conversation, but may be available for threading in the future and is available for threading in the toplevel below. Please see the updated bonus activity page for more information.
✽ Posted on the bulletin board and also handed to each club president before break is the notice that proof of club activity is due at the end of break. Please submit these proofs in the toplevel below.
✽ There is another ad on the bulletin board advertising an exchange student program for the month of October. Applications will be taken until the end of August, and there is a 300 merit point fee. Sister cities include Death City, Devildom, Ishigami Village, Lanling, LazyTown, and Maiami City.

[ Then it's called extortion. Besides... Komaeda is eating right now, so he won't have the appetite for anything npc-kun makes anyways. Food reviews are much higher when the judge has an empty stomach. ]

[ First of all, Komaeda's not allowed to die if they have anything to say about it. Second of all, they smell a business opportunity and like a light switch—- ]

It's your lucky day! It just so happens that I've got several nice hefty rocks you can buy for self defense! Whether it's close combat or enemies from afar, you won't be beat if you have one of these! And they come in your choice of brown or grey!

( slurps his can of corn like he's heard this line before, and he looks to the side. does he need a rock when he has the rockiest man known to man??? rockkun...... he doesn't need any other rocks! )

Have you murdered before? Using a rock is way too messy, the blood splatter will get all over me... sighs, it'd be a pain to clean up without the proper disinfectants.

( he already stole from the school's janitor, he probably can't do that again. ) I think freezing someone in the principle's office would be... exciting, and then shattering them with your rocks.

( ... he doesn't know if that's a thing, but it's something. )

[ With a strong pitch and good aim, he doesn't have to get blood splatter all over him... But Komaeda is surprisingly considerate, huh? Wanting to clean up his messes, or not make such a big one in the first place. ]

( he's just a neat-freak on the inside, and has some days where it doesn't apply. right now, he doesn't want to be messy if he doesn't have to. )

If the time calls for it, I will. If murdering someone brings hope, and your rocks help me with that method... I'll follow through.

( as of now, he's on murder cooldown, which is a shame... everyone gets so disappointed when he kills, and when he wants to help everyone around him. )

The rocks, you surround your sales with them... so I wondered.

( it's always a rock, and you don't just like hope... you love it. )

You promote them first and foremost before... the charms or the suncatchers.

Oh. There's just a lot of them, and I want to get rid of them as soon as possible.

[ They'd dump them outside, but, you know. They can apparently still make money off that junk, so it's worth investing the effort. ]

Besides, the charms and suncatchers are pretty. They sell themselves.

How many do you have... the bulk price?

( how can npc-kun do this to their 🪨s. not like komaeda can imagine someone collecting this many, it's just... who has the time and patience, and is that bored in life. )

Are the rocks not just as pretty, they do have dull colors...

( proud of himself on the topic change... he thinks he gets to keep the pocket knife too. a win/win, but he doesn't finish his corn so that's slightly a loss, so... he holds it up to npc-kun, maybe they want some too. )

They can be pretty, if they're polished, but...

Anyways, I won't sell them all in bulk. If I do that, the monopoly shifts to the buyer, who then drives market prices. It's got to be spread out amongst the masses.

That's if someone wants to use your wares afterwards, as for me... what would I want with rocks?

( let alone why would the market shift in his favor when he'd rather not have them at all. sure, he already purchased some, and they still sit in his pocket not having shown much use. )

isn't it against tulparata rules to lock them in the same room because they like freedom.

He doesn't really spend much, but I'm sure if you have really valuable rocks... he might change his mind.
