[ Hikaru stares at Komaeda making rice like I thought we were going to eat toast together but okay... Eggs cook quickly and once they are, they slide the egg and toast onto a plate for Komaeda, and for their own they add a dash of salt and then break the yolk so it can soak into the bread. ]

There's no electric gate that I know of... We're not supposed to go out there, but physically, there's nothing stopping us?

( stop, he's doing something it'll all make sense... make dimes and pennies... just keep cooking their breakfast. )

( he didn't think they were that type of person, but komaeda taps his chin in thought as he puts the nori on a plate, and tries to cut out little shapes from it... very tiny ones... he's doing something. )

[ What's he doing? Hikaru brings the plates over to the counter so Komaeda's is there is he wants a bite in between his... nori art or whatever, while Hikaru goes ahead and starts on their egg toast because they're hungry. ]

And I guess it's because they can't be responsible for students if they're in the forest. There's no one to keep an eye on people if they get lost or attacked by wild animals, that sort of thing.

( he thinks that the rice has been left long enough, so he'll place the rice and 1 1/4 cups of water in a heavy bottomed saucepan. he'll bring it to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to the lowest setting, cover, and cook until all the water has been absorbed. now he has to wait about 13 minutes. he'll look at the toast, and reach for hikaru's instead to bite one end, and then offer it back. )

We can go... What sort of activities would you like to do, a scavenger hunt at night would work well... two people to a team, or we can sleep gas every classroom, and then move their bodies one by one out into the forest furthest from the school, and have them try and survive in an unknown location.

( it's fine, it's not like the teacher's care about them anyway. )

They can take care of themselves, they are hopeful individuals after all... Now we just need enemies...

That's sort of... not what I was thinking. When we played in the woods, we caught and released fireflies, and roasted sweet potatoes over a fire, that sort of thing.

Oh, you want to do what the survival club does, like capturing dragonflies... those camping activities... I guess that's fine, but it needs a little more... hope.

( he'll check the rice now, removing it from the heat, then leaving the cover on, and allow it to rest for another ten minutes. as he does that, he leaves from the counter to check the cabinets, searching for... a specific item. )

Anyone can do those things, but I guess the joy of being with people... is why they'd even join in.

It's the eyes and mouth that are hard, since most people have a special device to neatly stamp out those sorts of things. Or, according to Google, a machine to cut nori using lasers. ]

[ "you belong to me but you choose what we do" is kind of backwards, they think, but it's also kind of him. Trouble is, they're more used to hanging out with a group of people rather than one on one, and there's no lack of opinions and clashing decisions in a group.

[ For continuity's sake, they'll take a handful of rice and try to shape it as close to Komaeda's examples as they can, but art isn't exactly their strong suit. Good thing about cats, though, is that they can be any blobby shape you want and as long as it has triangle ears and a tail, it looks like a cat. ]

Hikaru could ask anything of Lucifer and he'd say yes honestly, so this isn't a huge deal to him. He won't even question it.]

[ In three minute's time, Hikaru is probably still talking with Lucifer, holding him to the promise of having them done by the end of the day. It probably is very easy to make the cloak, with stitched on hood and pockets, and Hikaru doesn't even think to tell Lucifer that they and Komaeda plan to undo all the stitching and sew the cloaks together instead of getting fabric from home ec to serve the same purpose. ]
