Please let August be better than July I'm begging

✽ Due to 10+ classes raising their ranks last month, ALL characters have access to the courtyard via the door in the locker area and the windows facing the courtyard.
✽ Characters with 1-10 tallies are not able to get any further past the end of the courtyard before they fall unconscious; characters with 10-20 can get halfway to the pool building before the same happens to them; characters with 20+ tallies can reach the pool building but unfortunately, the door is on the other side. There are no windows on the walls, but from the clocktower, characters can see that it has a glass ceiling, though they are unable to see inside.
✽ Outside, there is no breeze, and it occasionally rains ash.
✽ Characters going up to the 4th floor will feel that the door is warm to the touch, and will occasionally open (see: missions)
✽ The student store opens, with the door propped open with a doorstopper. The npc running the store is currently not interested in conversation, but may be available for threading in the future and is available for threading in the toplevel below. Please see the updated bonus activity page for more information.
✽ Posted on the bulletin board and also handed to each club president before break is the notice that proof of club activity is due at the end of break. Please submit these proofs in the toplevel below.
✽ There is another ad on the bulletin board advertising an exchange student program for the month of October. Applications will be taken until the end of August, and there is a 300 merit point fee. Sister cities include Death City, Devildom, Ishigami Village, Lanling, LazyTown, and Maiami City.

"partial" in komaeda standards is what will be given, so look forward to that. not too many people care to ask komaeda's opinion when it comes to other people, but npc-kun doesn't know better. the thought of keeping his mouth closed to move on is an idea, but he thinks back to the piece that rokkun made around wilbur jr. arrival, and then looks at the jacket in the other's grasp. )

He has hope, and he told me he wouldn't give up on it. I believe it, because he's someone who fights for what he wants. He's an untalented idiot, so it makes sense how he got this far...

( memories komaeda doesn't remember aside, he's going by what he's seen during his time within the school. at times he appeared bold, his thoughts were pretty straightforward, considering he knew what he wanted: graduation. once he obtained that, it's just a straight shoot to becoming an architect, and he could leave both this school and its people behind.

No, that's not true. There are a select few who give up because they feel like they've lost it all, and have no where to go.

( he's not speaking from experience, but he's seen enough to think this way. )

Others latch onto the concept of people better than them, begging for what they have, because they can't do anything to get it themselves. Pathetic, worthless people who'll amount to nothing, and are taking up space in the world. This is why I only assist those with hope, I'll make sure they'll become a beacon to the world.

Komaeda starts off easy enough to follow— most people in the world are forgettable, and the ones that stand out to npc-kun are the big spenders, the ones who find themselves in money because of ??talent??hope??inheritance?? it doesn't really matter how, as long as they spend instead of save. Precious few people would spend 10,000 yen on rocks and keychains... It really was just the Ultimates.

No. You have material items to help them for only a moment, it's short-lived. Think of the long term, what can you do for them... Besides, you'll sell to anyone, hope, despair... it's not the same.

( he smiles softly, taking a step towards npc-kun to look them over. they've been doing this for awhile, so they know the ins and outs of what makes people happy — or forces it down their throats, like with the rocks. )

Because I don't want anyone bothering my Ultimates, no one needs to bother their purity... to cover them in their filth of hopelessness. ( not like npc-kun will understand. ) So I do what I can.
