Why would I be mad?

( mad? komaeda mad? can he even be mad? sad, sure? but mad... it's like a feeling he isn't sure he can comprehend about them.

he wants to ask is it something like giving up hope, or falling into despair or... he pauses, staring at the smile on their face. it's probably nothing that falls along those lines, so it must be something else, and a child's mind always thinks worse than the parent, but komaeda feels like... he doesn't get it. )

[ anyways!!! can't get out of an npckun hug that easily when they have to do it to keep him here, arms looped loosely enough for Komaeda to be able to move, but not so much that they can't fall into step with him when he does. ]

( is that what this is, besides, he can tell how much the other doesn't like when komaeda tries to buy the totems, but why can't they take what they make? doesn't make sense. )

I don't have hope, scum like me is only used to establish other's hope, and see it through until the end.

( the way komaeda says he has no hope, and then says he does, idk what's going on his mind, but iirc he said trash like him doesn't have it... bc his talent also sucks, so he's basically a peon like every other untalented individual. )
