Please let August be better than July I'm begging

✽ Due to 10+ classes raising their ranks last month, ALL characters have access to the courtyard via the door in the locker area and the windows facing the courtyard.
✽ Characters with 1-10 tallies are not able to get any further past the end of the courtyard before they fall unconscious; characters with 10-20 can get halfway to the pool building before the same happens to them; characters with 20+ tallies can reach the pool building but unfortunately, the door is on the other side. There are no windows on the walls, but from the clocktower, characters can see that it has a glass ceiling, though they are unable to see inside.
✽ Outside, there is no breeze, and it occasionally rains ash.
✽ Characters going up to the 4th floor will feel that the door is warm to the touch, and will occasionally open (see: missions)
✽ The student store opens, with the door propped open with a doorstopper. The npc running the store is currently not interested in conversation, but may be available for threading in the future and is available for threading in the toplevel below. Please see the updated bonus activity page for more information.
✽ Posted on the bulletin board and also handed to each club president before break is the notice that proof of club activity is due at the end of break. Please submit these proofs in the toplevel below.
✽ There is another ad on the bulletin board advertising an exchange student program for the month of October. Applications will be taken until the end of August, and there is a 300 merit point fee. Sister cities include Death City, Devildom, Ishigami Village, Lanling, LazyTown, and Maiami City.

Foot re-shoed, npc-kun snatches the suncatcher back up before Komaeda gets any funny ideas. There's nowhere they can hang it high enough on their own that Komaeda can't just reach up and pluck it off the hook, so they settle for holding it against their chest instead, arms crossed protectively over it. ]

now with npc-kun shoed foot, komaeda can walks over, reaching out for the suncatcher that the other holds onto. trust him, what's the worst he can do? he pulls at the top of it, as if silently requesting for them to let go. )

Oh. ( he hesitates, canting his head to the side. ) I didn't do anything wrong.

( just phrased like that because komaeda is komaeda. )

But, I have more buyers to tell you about!

[ Like fighting but not... fighting... not physically, anyways, not in a way npc-kun can capitalize on. And here they thought they finally had the chance to sell some skull-smashing rocks. ]

[ It's nothing they care very much about, though, unless it gets them on the up and up in the world, so instead they stare up at the ceiling like they're trying to envision Hinata and see if maybe they remember him from anywhere. It's tough... Faces are hard. ]

[ This makes no sense to them without context and they're sure it still won't with context, but maybe... they can work with this. When are we having movie night so they can lock Hinata and everybody else in a room and force them to watch B movies until they pony up money for npc-kun to let them go. ]

( it's a sensitive subject, is he stupid? yes, very much so. luckily, there's more to him than just that, though, so in a way... he can forgive it. he may lack talent, but he's sure that hinata could impress someone as basic as npc-kun, they sort of dwell within the same realm of lackluster-ness. )

I'd suggest getting one with a zero! Being reversible means it'll still read as the same number when taking selfies, and a bold design with a simple circle is all the rage these days! It's a very versatile design, and can represent anything from the rising sun to the bright full moon to shiny shiny coins! There is no more prosperous number than zero!

But okok they pull themselves free of Komaeda's grip so they can actually look at the jackets that are on sale, they don't spend as much time promoting these as they do the rocks, so give them a moment. Most of the ones with numbers are like... sports jackets... like the one Rokkun has because he's position number 6, a midfielder, but there's no number 0 in soccer. ]
