Every Food Can Either Be Categorized As A Soup, A Salad, Or A Sandwich. A Soup Is A Food Whose Liquid Content ("Soupiness") Is Deemed As "High". A Salad Is A Food Whose Liquid Content Is Deemed As Low ("Dressing"). A Sandwich Is Anything That Has What Could Feasibly Be Defined As Bread On Two Or More Sides.

Some Examples:

Pizza Is A Salad. The Liquid Ratio Is Almost None, Even In The Case Of The Greasiest Pizzas. While There Is Something That Can Be Defined As Bread ("The Crust"), It's Only On One Side. However, If You Fold A Pizza In Half, It Becomes A Sandwich.

Bread Bowl Soups Are Sandwiches. This Is Because It Functionally Has Bread On Two Or More Sides.

French Dip Sandwiches Are Soups, Despite Their Misleading Name. Dipping Them Into Au Jus Turns Them Incredibly Soggy, Leading To Their Classification.

casseroles can be soup, but i think lasagna should be a sandwich because of the contents mostly being tucked between two of something

for that matter, i think a sandwich can be anything made up of two or more layers of something! like an ice cream between wafers

1. eggs are nebulous. if you discount the shell, which most people dont eat unless theyre weird, a raw egg is mostly liquid and therefore is a soup. cooked however they lose the properties of being mostly liquid and eggs become a salad.

2. eclairs are a sandwich. this is because theres a filling inside surrounded on 2+ sides by breading

3. cupcakes are a salad. the breading is on one side (under the frosting), and the frosting can count as salad dressing if youre brave enough. cupcakes are also dry enough that they dont slot into the soup category.

They Can Be Either Hot Or Cold, But Are Good People To Have As A Nursemaid. Those Defined As "Soupless" Have None Of These Traits, And Have Terrible Bedside Manner As Well.
